Seeking Item Reworks

Finally some good items... ( I would hope at least )
- Made by @noodlegemo

This mod focuses on improving, reworking, or just simply rewording items from DLC 2 ( Seekers of the Storm ).
Feel free to leave feedback by contacting me through the Risk of Rain 2 Modding Discord server.

These reworks aren't limited to just Seekers of the Storm, and may extend towards to DLC 1 ( Survivors of the Void )
Reworks are also very configurable, ranging from simply disabling them, to changing each individual value.
There are also some other miscellaneous configurations as well.

Seekers of the Storm Reworks

Icon Item Description Notes
Warped Echo Incoming damage is split 50%, with the other 50% delayed for 4s (+1 instances per stack). Recharges one instance after delayed damage. Now feels more reliable with fewer stacks.
Chronic Expansion Killing 5 enemies in combat buffs damage by 7.5% (+7.5% per stack) temporarily each time, until leaving combat. No longer misleading stacking.
Flying Fin 5% (+2.5% per stack) chance on hit to knock enemies into the air. Deal +10% (+10% per stack) damage to airborne enemies. Focused on anti-air instead.
Smoldering Lantern Falling below 50% health grants a buff that ignites enemies for 20% (+20% per stack) base damage on hit, until health is restored to 90%. Main rework, meant to work with ignition tank.
Antler Shield Increase armor by 20% (+20% per stack) of current movement speed. Increase movement speed by 7.5% (+7.5% per stack). Why not have more armor?
Chance Doll Failing a Shrine increases the chance for the item reward to upgrade by 20% (+5% per stack), up to a Legendary item. For more predictability.
Prayer Beads Not Implemented N/A
Luminous Shot Not Implemented N/A
Sale Star Gain an extra item when purchasing a chest with a 100% (-7.5% per stack) chance to be consumed on use. At the start of each stage, it regenerates. More consistency and frequency.
Unstable Transmitter Falling below 25% health causes you to fade away, becoming intangible and exploding, hemorrhaging enemies within 30m for 10x200% (+200% per stack) base damage. Lasts 2s (+0.5s per stack). Recharges every 60 seconds. Reliable instead of terrible.
Noxious Thorns Getting hit surrounds you in a ring of thorns that apply blight for 150% (+150% per stack) damage. The ring grows when taking damage, increasing its radius by 2m. Stacks up to 10m (+4m per stack). DoT Razorwire, Acrid fun.
Growth Nectar When your Equipment is off cooldown, increase ALL stats by 15% (+10% per stack), and by 2% per Equipment charge, up to a maximum of 10% (+10% per stack). New niche playstyle focused on not using equips.
War Bonds Gain 3 (+2 per stack) free purchases at the start of each stage. When making a gold purchase, get 50% (+25% per stack) of spent gold as experience. Actually makes it worthwhile.

Seed of Life All allies and yourself return to life. Forces activation upon death. Equipment is consumed on use. Not selfish, reviving everyone else when you die.
Sprouting Life Place down a sprout that drops 10 healing orbs overtime. Just a rewrite.

Icon Item Description Notes
Smoldering Lantern 3% (+3% per stack) chance on hit to ignite enemies for 20% (+20% per stack) base damage. This item is inherited by allies and is boosted with Ignition Tank. Focused on improving allies and yourself.
Karma Doll When using 10 Shrines, all random effects arae rerolled +1 times for a favorable outcome permanently, up to a maximum of 1 (+1 per stack) times. Let there be luck.

Survivors of the Void

Icon Item Description Notes
Ben's Raincoat Prevents 1 (+1 per stack) debuff and instead grants a temporary barrier for 10% of maximum health. Recharges every 5 seconds. No changes, just False Son's skill disable can be cleansed now.
  • Toggleable configuration for now.

Risk of Rain 2

Icon Item Description Notes
Old War Stealthkit Falling below 25% health causes you become invisible for 5s, boost movement speed by 40% and cleanse 1 debuffs (+1 per stack). Recharges every 30 (-50% per stack) seconds. Making it on par to Unstable Transmitter.
  • Toggleable configuration for now.

Plans

Obviously the goal is to rework all of Seekers of the Storm items.
However, extending out to other DLCs and even base game could be a reasonable foreseeable step as well.
