Gentlemens Mod Manager
Mod Settings (formerly Mod Manager): a SETTINGS button on each mod in the game's own Mods menu to tune its options, every weapon's spawn rate and perk rarity tiers. The host's values are used in a lobby.Gentlemen's Mod Settings
Settings for your other mods, right inside the game's own Mods menu in A Gentlemen's Dispute. It adds no weapons, perks or maps of its own.
Formerly Gentlemen's Mod Manager. The game now has its own Mods menu that turns mods on and off, so this mod no longer has its own MODS page, on/off toggles or party code. It keeps the tuning. Your saved options and spawn rates carry over.
What it does
- A SETTINGS button on each mod. Open the game's Mods menu: every mod with something to tune gets a SETTINGS button on its row. On a gamepad, press Y on the row.
- Weapon spawn rates. Every mod that adds weapons gets a row per weapon from x0 (never spawns) to x3. This mod's own row has a BASE GAME button with the same rows for the game's own weapons and perks.
- Mod options. Mods that ship options get sliders, toggles and choices.
- Perk rarity. With Gentlemen's Rarity installed, a PERK RARITY tab lets you drag perk cards between tiers.
- The host's values win. In a friend's lobby, gameplay options and spawn rates come from the host (shown locked as "Host's value"). HUD, sound and visual options stay your own.
- BACK, Escape or gamepad B returns to the game's Mods menu.
Manual install
- Close the game.
- Download this package (Manual Download) and unzip it anywhere.
- Open the game's folder: in Steam, right-click A Gentlemen's Dispute > Manage > Browse local files.
- Open the Mods folder there (create it if it is missing).
- Copy the ModManager folder from the zip into Mods, so you end up with
Mods\ModManager\mod.json. Copy the whole folder, not just what is inside it; the other files in the zip (manifest.json,README.md,icon.png) are not needed. - Start the game. The mod is loaded automatically.
- Updating: delete the old
Mods\ModManagerfolder first, then copy in the new one. - Uninstalling: delete
Mods\ModManager.
Don't edit or add files inside the mod folder: the game checks the mod's files, and a changed folder will not match other players in a lobby.
Notes
- Needs the game update with the built-in Mods menu.
- Option values and spawn rates are saved in the game's mod data folder, not inside the mod folder, so they survive updates.
