Zeina's Essentials

My personal bundle of suggested mods that aim to improve many parts of the game in various ways while still being focused on singleplayer as the central subject. I couldn't include everything into the pack directly so instead, I advise you to read up through this description and about the mods you're installing to configure them to make the experience that best suits you!

This is one of three Essentials modpacks that I made, the other two focusing on multiplayer and hosting, they'll be linked at the bottom!

List of Mods

Gameplay mods

These are mods that improve the gameplay.

AutoSaver: Improved automatic saving and extra save backups. Configuration: EasySettings
More Bank Tabs: Fixed version of an old mod to add 6 more bank tabs. Compatible with AutoSaver
Toolbar Tweaks: Various UI improvements and an auto-collector. Configuration: EasySettings
- The auto-collector is best paired with Penggrin QoL which increases the pickup radius (note that this includes NPC/object interaction radius)
UI Shortcuts: Extra hotkeys for the UI like unlocking the cursor or scrolling in the world portal. Configuration: EasySettings
DPS UI: Measures DPS and tracks time for dungeons & bosses. Configuration: EasySettings
Control Tweaks: Attempts to improve player control by adding features like walking. Configuration: EasySettings

Cosmetic mods

These are mods that are more cosmetic focused.

Homebrewery: Core mod with various gameplay and cosmetic features. Configuration: Homebrewery.cfg (User Manual)
- Included All The Dyes for more dyes and Emote Macro Consumables for QoL
- Semi-suggest getting EverythingBrewery (performance concerns) or finding packs here
Character Menu Plus: Improves the character creator QoL with displays and buttons. Configuration: net.portalsam.AtlyssCharacterMenuPlus.cfg
Easy Vanity: Improves the vanity and dye systems by removing restrictions and costs. Configuration: EasySettings
Orb Colors: Allows you to customise your orb colour and size using RGB 0-1. Configuration: EasySettings
Chat Extras: Vastly improves the game chat, included for both standalone & external mod uses. Configuration: EasySettings
Emote Wheel: Adds a emote wheel hotkey and loads custom emotes. Configuration: EasySettings
- Universal Sit: Addon for Emote Wheel to add racial sits to all races
- Universal Sit2: Addon for Emote Wheel to add sit2 to all races and a custom "LaySide" emote
- AppearancePlus Emotes Addon for Emote Wheel to add emotes from AppearancePlus's beta

Bonus excluded mods

These are mods that I chose/had to exclude for one reason or another, but are still great and cool mods you might be interested in.

ValhATLYSS: (WIP) Raises the level cap to 64. (Currently in public testing)
No Safe Zone Cooldowns: Removes skill cooldowns when in a safe zone, doesn't work in multiplayer lobbies without a password lock
Poise: (WIP) Adds a knockback immunity stat that scales off of defence
Custom Quests: Custom quests loader, unstable in multiplayer, disable if encountering issues. Find custom quests here
ModAudio: Custom audio loader that's best used for music. Find custom audio packs here. Configuration: EasySettings
- Note: Some mods like Homebrewery packs use this as a soft dependency in the case that you get confused
Map Loader: Custom maps loader. Find custom maps here
Prop Placer: Allows you to place custom props like green screens with chat commands
- Note: As of writing, only Starlight Magistics Academy Props adds more props
Discord Rich Presence: Adds Rich Presence to Desktop Discord, a fancy version of "Game Activity". Configuration: EasySettings
Unity Explorer: Adds a UI for exploring, debugging, and modifying the game, not useful for the average user but helpful to learn about the game and mod it. Configuration: F7 -> Options in-game or com.sinai.unityexplorer.cfg
Localyssation: (WIP) Community-driven localisation project to bring the game into other languages. Find language packs here

Dependency mods

These are mods that other mods rely on to function, and don't need to be tampered with as a result.

BepInEx Pack: Unity mod loader that basically all mods are using. Configuration: BepInEx.cfg (pre-configured already)
Easy Settings: Adds a 5th tab to the settings for configuring some mods easily
- Incompatible with AtlyssPluginSettings currently, use EasySettings for now, but both will be linked once fixed
GLTF: Optional dependency of Homebrewery for custom 3D mesh support
Code Yapper: Forked version of a networking library that a bunch of mods use for multiplayer syncing
