Explore BONELAB through sound and color. Reveal dark surroundings with dots, fading silhouettes, footprints and bullet trails. One DLL for PC and Quest.
- EchoLocation: walking, talking and nearby sounds reveal the world.
- LiDAR: double-tap the right grip to scan ahead.
- Sonar: a scan rotates around you.
- Radar: circular waves reveal what they pass over.
Open BoneMenu > EchoLocation to get started. Settings are grouped into General, Modes and Advanced, with options for colors, dot shapes, performance and the optional VR voice indicator. PC also includes a spectator voice meter.
Installation
- PC / Quest Link: use MelonLoader 0.7.3 and BoneLib 3.2.2. Install through your mod manager or copy
Mods/EchoLocation.dllinto BONELAB'sModsfolder. - Quest standalone (beta): use BONELAB Patch 6, LemonLoader 0.6.5 and BoneLib 3.2.2. Copy the same DLL into
/sdcard/MelonLoader/com.StressLevelZero.BONELAB/Mods/. The package's MelonLoader dependency applies to PC installs.
Keep only one EchoLocation DLL installed. Fusion is optional for multiplayer detection. Effects are client-side.
