RealismLab
Localized injuries with visible synchronized stump blood, splashes, and sounds, plus night vision. Aim assist is excluded.RealismLab
RealismLab adds configurable localized injuries, bleeding, Fusion cosmetic hit visuals, synchronized injury/death sounds, and night vision to BONELAB. AimAssist is excluded from this package.
Injury and bleeding
- Blood splatter marks attach to the struck avatar body part, remain while health is not recovering, then fade after regeneration begins. Fade duration is configurable in BoneMenu and synchronized to compatible Fusion clients.
- Hits and accumulated damage can weaken or break only the struck arm or leg. BoneMenu exposes both thresholds; a second hit breaks by default, followed by a 2 second recovery blend.
- A first hit leaves the limb mostly responsive, so it can still hold a weapon. Original joint settings are restored after recovery, full health, death/respawn, avatar changes, or disabling the feature.
- Severe accumulated damage can hide a finger, hand, limb section, whole arm/leg, head, chest, or waist. BoneMenu exposes hit counts, thresholds, timers, bleeding, and marks.
- A missing part animates out, emits fading tapered blood droplets and short-lived floor splatters (each drop lasts 8 seconds), and shows a world-sized elliptical, mottled red cut-end surface with a surrounding attached blood mark. An ivory bone spur can also appear at a configurable chance.
- BoneMenu includes a toggle for the red stump cap and a slider for the bone-spur chance. Finger stumps use a smaller cap.
- Fusion clients running either RealismLab 0.9.60 package receive limb breaks/loss, stump surfaces, hit-location wound marks and their regeneration fade, bleeding and floor drops, injury sounds, hand blood, and blood marks on nearby held objects. Screen blood/vignette and audio trauma remain on the affected player's own view. Duplicate hit reports are reconciled to avoid stacked stump effects. Remote broken limbs get a client-side hanging pose; full puppet physics stays on the player's own client.
- If an AimAssist user selects you as a teammate, compatible clients show a small cyan team marker above both teammates through walls. When that user's aim scan sees you, you receive an original GTA V-style rising lock-warning beep.
Other features
- Green night vision illuminates the environment with a head-directed light. It has a subtle green screen tint, fades on/off, is off by default, and has configurable controller bindings in BoneMenu.
- Optional body recoil is off by default. Screen blood/vignette and hand/weapon blood effects are configurable.
- BoneMenu contains all controls. Magazine sliding has been removed from this version.
Requirements
BONELAB PC with MelonLoader, BoneLib 3.2.2 or newer, and LabFusion 1.14.2 or newer.
Visual and Fusion limitations
Missing parts are shown by hiding avatar bones; they are not detached physics props and hitboxes do not change. Compatible clients see cosmetic limb poses and effects, while full puppet physics is local. The teammate selector is only in the AimAssist package and only excludes selected players from that client's aim assist; it cannot prevent Fusion damage. Friendly-fire immunity needs authoritative server-side Fusion support. Team markers and lock-warning beeps require compatible 0.9.51 clients. Custom avatars may not expose all humanoid bones.
