Loop The Gungeon
Have you ever wanted a Gungeon run to last longer? Or tried stacking Clone to push the game's limit? Or just forgot something inside the Hollow? ... No? Wait... actually none of these? Welp, this mod lets you loop the Gungeon anyway — just don't ask too many questions, then I'll stop too.
Features:
-
Endless Gungeon looping: loop from the end back to the start and explore a newly generated Gungeon each time, all while keeping your precious inventory (mostly) intact. Each loop will make enemies tougher but more rewarding, so let's see how looped you can get :)
-
Fully configurable enemy & economy scaling: either break the Gungeon immediately, or eventually. Use the config file* to customize enemy attributes such as health, attack speed, movement speed, projectile speed, and make sure you're properly rewarded for surviving too!
-
Reawakened Mastery Shrine: hoard Master Rounds like a leaf lover, or sacrifice them here for vital bonuses (or just take a rest <3)
-
Milestone progression ladder: earn funny titles & rewards as you prove your masteries! Warning: funny titles do not stop bullets.
-
Quality of life improvements: optional Boss DPS cap & LoJ removal, actual Dragun & Lich rewards, and run summaries!
-
Mid-game save support: take a break (you deserve it) from your never-ending run. The Gungeon will remember your loops...
-
Live config reloads via command: apply changes without leaving the fight! Now with 90% less bugs! (Last 10% are emotionally attached.)
*This mod is mainly driven by its config file. Use it to create your perfect challenge run, and use the console commands to view or update its loop effects in-game.
How do I loop?
Whoa there, cowboy. I'll show you the 2 loop methods right away:

-
If you're barely holding on, you can loop early using the loop button by the Blacksmith. Be careful however: Master Rounds won't survive this loophole! But if you're willing to lose them (or don't have any), then this loophole could be the move.
-
If you want more rewards, you'll have to go through Bullet Hell and grumpy Lich — after which you'll be able to shoot yourself (literally) back from there. For obvious reasons, try not to miss and hit the ol' geezer instead — this game still has a real ending.
So git gud, or die trying. Or die not even trying, or die because you set enemy attack speed to 5000%. The Gungeon is your oyster.
Special Thanks
Dallan for creating all the awesome sprites! I made the others :)
