4. Supply Raid Editor - Character
Updated 4 months agoSupply Raid Editor - Character
This tutorial assumes you've got your Supply Raid Editor Setup
About
Characters are versatile and separate from Sosig Factions (Unlike TnH), so their balance and setup can be focused on their own style of play. For a comprehensive use case of a character, all default Supply Raid characters are available within the Supply Raid plugin folder and can be loaded into the editor as a reference.

categories
Start Gear / Purchase Categories
These 2 lists represent all items purchasable and obtainable in Supply Raid
Starting Gear
Gear is assigned through Item Categories and will pull from these pools to give the player their starting items through the start spawn table. Each Item Category is assigned by the Item Categories Name
, not to be confused by their filename
Purchase Categories
These categories will appear on the Buy Menu as purchasable items, the setup is same difference as Start Gear except we can assign a point Cost per Item Category
Loot Categories / Subtraction ObjectIDs
These 2 lists allow us to have enemies drop loot and subtract globally any certain item ID's from spawning
Loot Drop Categories
This allows us to roll a chance per sosig kill on dropping loot. The setup is the same with assigning our Item Category by its Name
. Chance
will roll between 0
and 1
, 0
means it will never drop any item, 1
will drop every single Sosig kill. e.g. Chance
set to 0.25
will drop 25% of the time
Subtraction Object IDs
This is a global list of ObjectIDs (ItemIDs) that will forcibly be removed from loot tables, a blacklist. This is useful if you have a Item Category that spawns everything you want except it includes a single item you don't want
