Bug Fixes: Boons
Fix boon, hammer, and boon-weapon interaction bugs that can affect speedrun consistency.
Part of the Speedrun modpack.
What It Does
Bug Fixes: Boons collects gameplay fixes for boon and hammer interactions that can behave incorrectly or inconsistently in live runs.
The module currently includes:
- Braid Fix Makes Braid of Atlas correctly buff casts.
- Cardio Torch Fix Fixes Cardio Gain interactions with Torch specials.
- ET Fix Fixes the ET interaction with Anubis by creating another field closer to the player. It also makes Anubis Omega Attack curve more consistently regardless of casting angle.
- Omega Cast Fix Fixes omega-cast moves not being counted as cast damage.
- Poseidon Waves Fix Fixes Poseidon wave behavior on Axe special and Torch with the Hidden Helix hammer.
- Remove Second Channeling Removes the extra second-stage channeling behavior for Giga Moonburst and Glorious Disaster. Charon also now procs Glorious Disaster.
- Shimmering Moonshot Fix Fixes Shimmering Moonshot failing to apply its damage bonus to omega special.
Use it when you want common boon and hammer bug fixes applied without changing the broader routing or utility rules of the pack.
Installation
Install via r2modman.
This module is usually installed as part of the full Speedrun modpack, where it appears in the shared Speedrun UI with the other speedrun-focused modules.
