Pharloom's Glory

Pharloom's Glory modifies game assets in specific areas to make them look and feel as they were in the past based on game lore.

This mod does not add any new gameplay scenes, it only modifies existing ones, replacing textures and adding game assets by parsing text files with custom scene modifications. However, there aren't significant gameplay changes as room layouts stay the same, the changes are usually only visual.

The audio system in this plugin was adapted from Ashiepaws's Patchwork mod, please check it out.

Main Features

• Modified Blasted Steps into Coral Steps:

  • Removed wind effects
  • Replaced most of the sand and bone in textures with coral
  • Revamped backgrounds with extra sprites and fish particles
  • Implemented custom map area color and map wide zone texture
  • Added custom original music

• Modified Sands of Karak into Red Coral Gorge:

  • Removed wind effects
  • Replaced all of the sand and bone textures with coral ones
  • Revamped backgrounds with extra sprites and fish particles
  • Replaced Sandcarvers with a river that runs through the whole area
  • Implemented custom map wide zone texture
  • Readded cut Coral Gorge soundtrack

• Modified dialogue and UI text accordingly

Planned Features

Replace modern day Verdania with Lost Verdania and make it accessible in Act 2.

Manual Install

Create a new folder in your-silksong-install-location/Hollow Knight Silksong/BepInEx/plugins/ and name it PharloomsGlory. Download the mod zip file from Thunderstore and place the contents of PharloomsGlory.zip/plugins/ into the folder you created. You should end up with this structure:
