More Colours
Recolour the HUD from a new Colours screen in Options: score popups, hitmarkers, money, vitals, boss bars, chat, hotbar, drip text and more, with live previews.More Colours
Adds a Colours screen to the Options menu (button on the right side of the panel) where you can recolour the game. Every colour has an on/off toggle, a reset button and an animated preview, so you can see what you're doing without joining a game.
What you can recolour
- Palette: the shared colours the game uses all over the place. Red (damage markers, money loss, boss bar, chat names), green (money and bait gain), orange (highlights) and the mini-boss colour.
- Score popup: the "+26 Killed Perch" popup. Multiplier, main line score and text (both typing and finished), bonus lines.
- Combat: hitmarkers and damage numbers, with separate killing blow colours.
- Blood: the spray when you hit something and the splatter left on the ground.
- Screen effects: the glow round the edge of the screen when you take damage, get poisoned, catch fire or eat. Each one can also be switched off.
- Money and bait: the money counter. The floating +$/-$ texts follow the palette.
- Vitals: health and hunger rings, their trails, poison and fire rings, low icon tints.
- Boss: the boss and mini-boss bars, the damage trail, the time left bar and the boss name.
- Chat: the [Server] tag and player name colours.
- Inspect: the item name, the details text and the weight bonus percentage.
- Hotbar: slot numbers and key hints, and the selected slot outline.
- HUD: look-at text, item prompts, NPC text, the version number, the voice indicator and the caught fish name.
- Item dots: every dot at once, fish, weapons, alive fish and dead players separately, or pick out a single item from a searchable list and give just that one its own colour.
- Menu: the game title, the main menu buttons, the options screen text, the button borders and fills, the sliders and their handles, and the arrows.
- Slot machine: the common / rare / legendary skin outlines.
- Drip text: swap the animated drip gradient for your own (2 to 8 colours).
Colour picking uses the same palette grid as the character customizer, plus RGBA sliders and hex input. There are 8 built in themes and you can save your own presets. Presets are plain text, so Copy and Paste share a whole theme through the clipboard, and the Folder button opens where they live.
Defaults come from the game itself wherever it exposes them, so previews and resets match what vanilla looks like.
Client side only, other players don't need the mod and won't see your colours.
Settings live in BepInEx/config/MoreColours/.
Installation
