Better Islands

Hand-built custom versions of the game's islands:

• Better Island 1 - a full rebuild of the first island
• Beach (island 2) - built by Ayinz (ayinz__ on Discord)

Everything works: NPCs talk and trade, shops have real price tags, the boat waits at the dock, creatures spawn - on terrain and scenery built from scratch.

Better Island 1 even carries its own day-night sky: sunsets, a galaxy night and a glowing moon, out of the box. (Running Living Skies? Its full sky and storms take over seamlessly, on every island.)

Install

With a mod manager, just install this - the CustomIslands Loader (the mod that runs custom islands) comes automatically as a dependency.

Manual: install the CustomIslands Loader first, then drop the files from this zip's HTFMaps folder into BepInEx/plugins/HTFMaps/ (each island is a .bundle + .json pair).

Co-op

Everyone in the lobby needs the same maps installed.

Roadmap

Two islands down, three to go - custom versions of the other islands will join this pack as updates. Made a good one with the Mapmaker Kit? It could ship here too.
