ScanValue

ScanValue is a client-side Lethal Company mod that improves scrap scanning by showing a clear value overlay above scanned scrap. It mirrors the vanilla right-click scan results, keeps the vanilla total value behavior, and adds optional item names plus value-based highlight colors.

Configuration

ScanValue creates a BepInEx config file on first launch. Settings can be adjusted while the game is running and are reloaded after the config file is saved.

The config supports English and Chinese section text. When LC Chinese Project is detected, generated config text uses Chinese descriptions without depending on a fixed LC Chinese Project version.

Compatibility

ScanValue is designed to work alongside LC Chinese Project. It reads active item-name translation resources when present and does not modify shared TextMeshPro fallback tables.

The mod uses the vanilla scan result flow in its default mode. Non-scrap scan markers such as ship and entrance markers are preserved.

Installation

Install with a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager, or place the package contents in your Lethal Company profile so that the plugin files end up under:
