Cosmetics & Scrap Menu

A replacement for MoreCompany's cosmetics menu, plus a library of every scrap item in the game. Equipping still goes through MoreCompany, so your saved cosmetics and how they sync to other players don't change.

Cosmetics menu

• Full-size preview of your character. Left or right drag spins him (with a little drift), scroll zooms, middle drag pans, and Reset view puts him back.
• Browse every cosmetic, or Current for just what you have on.
• Body-slot filters (head, chest, hip, right arm, left leg, right leg), plus Favorites.
• Search by name or pack, and flip through packs with the arrows.
• Tints: recolour any cosmetic you're wearing with hue shift or tint, plus hue, saturation and brightness sliders. It updates live while you drag.
• Outfits: save what you're wearing, its tints and your suit, then switch with one click. The outfit you're wearing updates itself as you change things, so you don't lose anything.
• Undo / redo with buttons or Ctrl+Z / Ctrl+Y.
• Change suit from the menu while you're on the ship (the rack still works).
• Hide broken cosmetics with a right-click; they show up under Hidden so you can bring them back.

Scrap library

The Scrap button next to the cosmetics button opens every scrap item in the game, including modded scrap, using the same layout:

• Everything is on by default. Tick items off and they won't spawn.
• Filter by one-handed, two-handed, metal, heavy or valuable, by mod, or by search.
• See each item spinning in the preview with its value and weight.
• The first time you open it, it takes a quick picture of every item for the tiles.

Switched-off scrap only applies in lobbies you host.

Files

Settings are kept in BepInEx/config:

• kylew.cosmeticsmenuplus.cfg: menu options. Set Enabled = false to get MoreCompany's original menu back.
• kylew.cosmeticsmenuplus.tints.txt, .outfits.txt, .favorites.txt, .hidden.txt and .scrap-disabled.txt.

Scrap pictures are cached in BepInEx/cache/CosmeticsMenuPlus/scrap-v2; Redo pictures in the scrap library takes them again.

Compatibility

• Needs MoreCompany.
• LethalLevelLoader is optional; with it, the scrap library can show which mod each item comes from.
• Works with LCVR. Pair it with LCVR Fixes (also by Boneman) so cosmetics render in both eyes.
