Welcome to GrimmCompany!!
To preface, this modpack is best experienced with 5+ players, all with little to no knowledge about what most of the mods actually do. Further down in the README will be some tips to make sure you don't find yourself face to face with god the moment you step off the ship.
In this modpack you can AND will:
- Play with more than four people! It's a multiplayer modpack, of course I have one of these mods.
- Have larger teams so it's much more viable to leave someone on the ship. To make that role more enticing, the monitor is now touchscreen, and you can now watch bodycams!
- Laugh manaically while spectating the Bracken 5 feet behind your friends.
- Lock doors with keys! Hear something scary behind a door? Lock it and forget you heard anything at all (Until it finds another way to you). I also encourage locking your friends with monsters. It's very funny.
- Push your teammates! Taking too long to jump the gap? Shove! Monster after you? Not if it's too busy chewing on your friends!
- Come strapped! With the ability to now buy nutcracker shotguns, the only problem is how to get the shells! Wait... How DO you get the shells?
- Die! A lot!
And then some more general features:
- Two new monsters!
- Tons of new items!
- New map hazard!
- Various QOL changes!
- Yippee!
TIPS FOR BLIND ENTRY (damn near unhelpful AND relatively spoiler free!):
- BRING A FLASHLIGHT!! In this modpack, they are almost absolutely necessary.
- Wait... Did that mask just laugh?!
- You may find yourself in a place that looks somehow familiar. Take in the sights, but don't get lost...
- Leave the apparatus for last, trust me.
- Oh cool! A free walkie! Wait... How'd it get in HERE?
- Pay close attention to your friends, they might not be quite what they seem.
- Happy holidays! Better hope you've been good...
- Just glance at the bottom left corner every once and a while, there's a lot going on down there.
Known bugs:
- I do not currently know of any bugs in the modpack, but I'm sure there is no shortage of them. If you find one, let me know on discord @grimmboii !
