Overview

This is a simple mod I created to help manage how many days you get to complete each quota. This is an original work but was inspired by other mods that sadly don't work or haven't been updated in a long time.

The way this mod works is that it takes the total quota and divides it by a certain amount to get the amount of days you'll have before having to go to the company building. For example, if your quota is 400 and the config is configured as 200 quota per day, it will divide and determine you get two days.

Basic Configs

Because I wanted to make it very configurable there are a few options for this mod:

  • You may configure the mod to simply force a set of days and no other configurations will affect anything i.e every quota gives the same amount of time.

  • Besides setting the "Quota Per Day" calculation, you can also offset the amount of days you get, set a multiplier as well as minimum and maximum settings to set bounds on how many days can be given.

Difficulty Scaling

A section in the configs dedicated to making the quota more challenging to achieve over time:

  • "Progressive Difficulty Scaling" must be enabled

  • "First Reduction At Quota" sets the quota that difficulty scaling will begin to affect the given amount of days.

  • "Quotas Between Reductions" determines the amount of quotas before the mod again removes another day from its calculation.

  • "Days Removed Per Reduction" literally just tells the mod how many days to remove every time it "increase difficulty"

Example For Difficulty Scaling

Since this might be confusing here is an example to help:

Lets say we set the config as follows,

Progressive Difficulty Scaling = true , First Reduction At Quota = 3 , Quotas Between Reductions = 2 , Days Removed Per Reduction = 1.

With this setup the gameplay will look like this:

For the first two quotas, the gameplay is normal and each quota is calculated as was set by the other configs. Essentially we can say that the quota is 400 and the mod divides by 200 to determine you get two days to get the quota before company building.

Now if we used this same logic on quota 3, the mod will now calculate as normal but remove a day from the total amount of time being given. If the quota is 400 on quota three, then it determines 2 days - 1 day = Total of 1 day before company building.

Now it will only subtract one day from every quota up to quota 5 since Quotas Between Reductions is set to 2. One it gets to day five it subtracts an additional day from the calculation so a -2 days rather than just -1. If "Days removed per quota" was set to two then it would be -2 on quota 3 and -4 on quota 5.

The pattern continues until you are fired or start another save.
