BETA LC VEGA
Preview of LC-VEGA v5: The Voice Overhaul Update
CHANGELOG
Version 5.0.0:
The Voice Overhaul Update
VEGA has never sounded better
VEGA has undergone a total vocal transformation with the goal of delivering the closest possible performance to the original source material. As such, all voice lines have been completely remade using a new voice cloning process that far surpasses the previous one. But it's not just the voice cloning that has improved. The audio files themselves have received a much needed facelift. They are no longer flat and boring Mono audio files, instead, they are all now Stereo, resulting in a much more pleasant, rich and deep audio experience when VEGA speaks.
Since I had to redo all of the existing voice lines, I took this opportunity to finally get around to recording the missing voice lines for the Giant Sapsucker, Backwater Gunkfish, Feiopar and Cadaver Growths.
A better in-game configuration experience
LethalConfig is now a dependency, which has allowed me to improve the overall experience of configuring the mod inside the game.
The color options for the Advanced Scanner are now color picker items and the config items that require a restart to work have been properly flagged as such.

No more Bestiary Entries
VEGA no longer has the capability of reading Bestiary Entries out loud in any context. Not when using the Terminal nor when asking him through voice commands. In fact, the commands themselves have been removed and can no longer be asked.
This was done primarily because as awesome as the new voice cloning is, it does struggle with long voice lines more than the previous one did, and to be honest, the voice lines were quite heavy and long and didn't really add much to the mod besides just being cool little detail, so I ultimately chose to remove it as I considered it beneficial for the mod overall.
A friendly reminder!
With the public release of v4.1.0 came a small voice commands overhaul that changed their default values in the configuration file. If you had a previous configuration file saved and updated the mod, the commands kept their previous default values and did not update on their own, which can cause problems as they still include VEGA's name in them.
To fix this, you can either change each command one by one and reset them to the default or in the case you had a custom one, remove the name, or you can change the voice commands to a different language, click apply, then change back and restart your game for the changes to be applied.
This is everything for now. The mod is now technically up to date with the game and is feature complete, although I do have a couple of ideas for new features that I would like to explore in more depth.
I know mod support is something that is highly requested, but for now I still have no plans of adding any of it back yet.
