Kikii's v62 Core Mods
The following modpack consists of mods which enhance your gameplay experience in Lethal Company, with hand picked mods popular amongst my friends — there is also an add-on pack which adds further cosmetic changes such as reskins and changes to sounds.
- The settings detailed below are the defaults which we have, through gameplay, changed and altered to create an enjoyable, balanced, fun and rewarding experience for friends. Whilst they were fun for us, you are free to make changes based on your playstyle and needs.
- When launching the game, you will see a black screen for a moment; this is normal, this is the Lethal Company Variables mod injecting it's required code into the game. Do not press anything as this will cause your game to crash; there is not much we can do about this.
- If you need support or would like to suggest changes or even play with us (as we play very often), feel free to join our Discord Server, Midnight Plaza.
Major Additions
- 16 New Moons & Planets including Orion, Aquatis, and Celest by sfDesat, and Infernis, Acidir, Etern, Atlantica, Polarus, Gratar, Asteriod 13, Cosmocos, Junic, Gloom, Desolation, Fission, and Oldred by Wesley.
- 6 New Interiors including The Toy Store, and The Grand Armory by Wesley, Pool Rooms by skidz, School Dungeon by MrUnrealTeam and the Dungeon and Sewer by scoopy.
Multiplayer Changes
- Support for up to 32 players (capped at 16 for performance, however, this can be changed).
- Lots of suits and emotes to express yourself :3 — by default, use
C to play a random emote, V to copy/join in an emote of a nearby player, and K to stop emoting. You can also use the scroll wheel (button not scroll) to switch to third person.
- The helmet cameras now display in 1024x1024 (from 48x48).
- Experience will be gained from collecting loot which can be used to increase your characters stats, including health regeneration, more stamina, increased battery life, slots, and loot value.
- For 500 Credits, you can revive a person who has died, however, this will spawn them in at a random location.
Gameplay, Tweaks & Quality of Life Changes
- Default FOV is now 90 (from 66) and 110 while interacting with the terminal (to accomodate unique aspect ratios).
- The game will now support 21:9 and 32:9 aspect ratios.
- 5 Item Slots by Default plus reserved slots for Flashlights (
F to turn on/off) and Spray Paint (Press Left Alt to Hold and Scroll to select an item, and Right Alt to Toggle into the Reserved slots). Spray Paint has also been changed to allow for changes to colours, brush sizing and more.
- Mini-Map added (for balancing, this will not display enemies or loot); this includes a compass leading to the ship for navigation — note that you will have to press
F1 and then select yourself as a target manually to properly use this unfortunately.
- More severe weather conditions will increase the value of loot found — Rainy 1.1x, Foggy 1.2x, Stormy 1.25x, Flooded 1.5x, Eclipsed 2x.
- Texture resolutions have been increased.
- The ship now has windows (configured to be unlocked by default at the beginning).
- There is now 1.5x the loot, however, the value of loot has been reduced, encouraging the need to invest skill points (though the
Esc menu) into Loot Value rather than Health Regeneration, Stamina or Battery. This change also means that you need to be more concious of what items you are carrying to maximise the amount of loot you bring back to meet the quota.
- The ship clock will now always be displayed.
- There is no longer a restriction or limit to how many items are in the ship (previously 45 items), and items can be picked up before starting a game or landing.
- Starting credits have been increased to 360, and working overtime now awards more credits.
Changelog
Below is a detailed list of the changes made to the modpack over time, such as balancing changes, modpack additions and more.
Planned Upcoming Changes
- Reduce the price of more moons, not just Etern.
- Improve performance.
Version 1.0.2 — Cheaper Moons, Mod Alternatives & Additions (27 August 2024)
- Renamed modpack to 'Kikii Core' from 'Kikii Core v60'`, to better reflect the fact this modpack is updated constantly.
- Addition of General Improvements and Better Vehicle Controls.
- Added more interiors — including Pool Rooms, School Dungeon and the Dungeon & Sewer.
- Removed Helmet Cameras, and replaced with OpenBodyCams, to maximise customisation options and performance.
- Removed Corporate Restructure, Suit Saver, Let Me Look Down and Better Teleporters as General Improvements contained all these changes.
- A changelog has now been added (including for previous iterations) for modpack configurations and changes — all dates are as of Australian Eastern Standard Time.
- The Cruiser now has an automatic gearbox and will automatically centre the wheel to its default position (configurable settings if required).
- Increased loot per level to 2x (previously from 1.5x as we still did not have enough loot for as many people)
- Tools in your inventory will automatically charge when the ship is in orbit, and keys will have unlimited uses and will no longer be consumed upon use.
- Most moons have had their prices adjusted so that they are cheaper to visit, and to increase variety as farming the same moons is repetitive and boring. Additionally, moon prices are now shown in the moon menu rather than requiring you to manually check each one.
- Non-scrap items (such as tools) are now kept when using the teleporter (both Normal and Inverse). The normal teleporter now has cooldown of 5 seconds (from 10), and the inverse teleporter has a cooldown of 60 seconds (from 210)
- The scanner will now work better and scan fire exits, players, doors, the light switch, and the dropship.
- Rotating items when placing will now default to 45 degree snapping, whilst
Left Alt can be used to freely rotate, and Left Shift will rotate counter-clockwise.
- Adjusted all displays in the ship so that they show relevant information sorted in a logical order — the left displays show credit/quota related displays, the centre displays show information regarding the planet, and the right displays show additional information.
Version 1.0.1 — More Loot (26 August 2024)
- Renamed modpack to 'Kikii Core v60'.
- Addition of Object Volume Controller, Fair AI, Corporate Restructure, EladsHUD, and Better Ladders.
- Ladders are now 2x faster to climb, and 4x faster (than default) when sprinting.
- Increased the amount of loot spawned by 50%, however, each item will have 25% less value; this change was made to make the game harder, and to encourage making better decisions about the loot you bring back, as well as investing into increased the loot value skill.
- Interiors are now 50% bigger as we noticed some felt small in our multiplayer playthroughs.
- Overtime bonus increased to 1.5x (from 1x) to encourage riskier playing, and so that the late game upgrades are more viable as they often cost too much for too little.
- Starting credits are now 360 (from 60), plus 25 per player when starting the game in the lobby, and flashlights are free (because they suck and pro-flashlights are only 25).
Version 1.0.0 — Initial Release (23 August 2024)
- Initial release of modpack consisting of 61 core and essential mods which we thought enhanced the experience for multiplayer, including but not limited to More Company, Reserved Item Slots, Late Company, Late Game Upgrades, Lethal Progression, Minimap, Helmet Cameras, Immersive Scrap, HD Textures, More Suits, Ship Windows, Suit Saver, Wesley's Moons, Wesley's Interiors, Celest, Orion, Aquatis, Weather Multipliers, Celestial Tint, More Items, Needy Cats, Better Stamina, Better Teleporters, Bad Ass Company, Lethal Level Loader, Better Spraypaint, Nice Chat, Lethal Config, Bad Ass Company, View Extension and much more.
