This is a small Silent Hill 1 content module for Lethal Company, adding a few SH1-themed scrap items to the game using HolographicWing's LethalSDK. This is just a proof of concept. (More SH mods to come!)

Dependencies:

  • Bepinex
  • LethalExpansion by Holographic Wings

Installation:

Move the extracted contents of the .zip (specifically the 2 .lem files) to your "..\BepInEx\plugins\LethalExpansion\Modules" folder. (Your folder names may vary, but make sure to put it inside the "modules" folder of LethalExpansion.)

Content:

This mod adds 16 scrap items, 12 of which are basic scrap and the other 4 are weapons. By default, they have unique spawn weights across all vanilla moons. (If you want them to spawn on other moons, I recommend using AdvancedCompany to edit scrap item spawn rates!)

  • Additional unique sfx (for items like rubber ball, ampoule, bloodbag, etc.)
  • Additional weapons (wooden plank, great knife, chainsaw)

Known Issues:

  • All 4 weapons have janky viewmodels while swinging and sometimes cause "hit" sfx when hitting nothing.

Almost all of these sound effects, models, and textures were created by Konami/Team Silent, although some have been made/modified by me.

Special thanks to SilentQuest on SketchFab for ripping the 3D model assets from SH1.

  • Reduced max volume of radio by 31% and changed pitch range to be less ear-splitting (retained some ear-splitting charm)

    • Silver and gold medallions are very valuable, but very heavy and rare!
  • Rebalanced all the scrap values again, tweaking them down to more realistic numbers
  • Adjusted gasoline tank handheld position to block your view better >:)
  • Made new, real sfx for the gasoline tank to replace the placeholders
  • Tweaked a bunch of sfx (added a new item drop noise, adjusted volumes, trimmed excess, etc.)
