Installation Guide:
We recommend installing Deep Space Overhaul using a mod manager for the easiest and most reliable experience.
1. Thunderstore Mod Manager (Recommended)
- Download and install the Thunderstore Mod Manager from https://thunderstore.io/package/Thunderstore/ThunderstoreModManager/
- Launch the manager and select "Lethal Company" from the game list.
- Click "Select Profile" (or "Create new" if you don't have one).
- Go to "Get mods" and search for "Deep Space Overhaul" by "OnlyMe".
- Click "Download" and then "Download with dependencies".
- Once downloaded, click "Play modded" to launch the game with the modpack!
2. r2modman (Alternative Mod Manager)
- Download and install r2modman from https://thunderstore.io/package/ebkr/r2modman/
- Launch r2modman and select "Lethal Company".
- Click "Select Profile" (or "Create new" if you don't have one).
- Go to "Online" and search for "Deep Space Overhaul".
- Click "Download" and then "Download with dependencies".
- Once downloaded, click "Start modded" to launch the game!
3. Manual Installation (Advanced Users)
Manual installation is more complex due to the large number of files. If you're comfortable with file structures:
- Ensure you have BepInEx installed manually into your Lethal Company directory.
- Download the "Deep Space Overhaul" modpack zip file.
- Unzip the contents. You will find a
BepInEx folder and potentially other folders.
- Carefully replicate the file structure into your main Lethal Company game folder (where
Lethal Company.exe is located), merging folders as necessary.
- Simplified Manual: You can also use r2modman to "Export profile as a code" or "Export profile as a zip" and distribute that way.
Known Issues & Tips:
- Performance: Due to the large amount of new content, some users may experience slight performance dips. Adjust in-game graphics settings if needed.
- Mod Conflicts: While thoroughly tested, very rare conflicts might occur with other mods if you manually add them. It's recommended to run this modpack as-is for the best experience.
- PersistentPurchases: If you experience issues with items not persisting, ensure no other "persistent purchases" mods are installed. You can also check the mod's configuration file in your
BepInEx/config folder.
