AI: The Somnium Files Characters

I have created a character pack of one of my favorite sets of games: AI: The Somnium Files and its sequel: nirvanA Initiative. There are 30+ characters in this pack, including two unlockable suits! Gallery, including a picture of each costume and features, will be listed below.

Aiba

• Date's trusty AI partner from the first game, while becoming Mizuki's in the second game. She puts up with most of Date's crap, but often keeps him in check with her reasonings. Date likes having her do dumb things during a Somnium.
  • Physics for the hair.

Amame Doi

• Amame is a third-year member of the Sekiba High dance club. She is good friends with Iris and Kizuna, along with Mizuki and Ota. She works at Sunfish Pocket as a Mermaid.
  • Physics for the hair and skirts of all outfits.
  • Also comes with her Mermaid outfit and her school outfit.

Andes Komeji

• The father of Shoma Enda. He is a very emotive comedian. His is happy with his career choice, as long as he makes at least one person happy. He has a... very unique head.

Araya Kagami

• The investigator who always has his name forgotten. He is constantly annoyed by this fact.

Bibi

• A mysterious masked woman who helps Mizuki during the events of the Half Body Serial Killings. Who is she, and how do the killings relate to her?
  • Physics for the coat and sleeves.
  • Unmasked variant included, but is considered a spoiler, so I'll link to an image of her unmasked appearance here.

Boss

• Commander of Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department's Advanced Brain Investigation Squad (ABIS), she is Date's superior and life-long friend. She comes off as an easygoing optimist, but she is quite cunning with her quick wit.
  • Physics for her breasts and hair.
  • Proposed protoype design that ended up being used for one of the victim's in "PSYNCIN' IN THE VaiN." This model is unused and can be seen via debug mode. This model has breast and hair physics. Image of her model here.

Chikara Horadori

• Chikara Horadori is the Director of the Horadori Institute of Genetics. He plays a key part in the Half Body Serial Killings. He is... quite the eccentric character.
  • Physics for the coat.

Falco

• A detective who worked at the Tokyo MPD, who also worked as an assassin of the Kumakura Family. Due to his various crimes, he was given the title "Inmate #89."

Gen Ishiyagane

• Gen is the proprietor of Brahman World Cuisine in Golden Yokocho. He was born with a deformed skeleton and considers himself ugly, so he is always wearing the mask on his head. Despite his intimidating demeanor, he is a very peaceful and quiet man.

Iris Sagan

• Also known by her idol name A-Set and Tesa to her fans, Iris is a internet icon. She is currently employed at Lemniscate. She loves dancing and video games. She is also a big fan of the occult. She plays a major role in the events of the first game.
  • Also comes with her AI2 look. She can be spotted wearing either a cat-ear headband or a standard headband. Images of those can be seen here and here.
  • Physics on the hair of her AI2 appearances.

Kaname Date

• The protagonist from the first game in the series. Date's a bit dense when it comes to picking up some finer details of a conversation, but he can be serious when the situation calls for it. He's a bit obsessed with porno mags.
  • Comes in two variants: no eyepatch and eyepatch. An image of him with his eyepatch can be seen here.

Kizuna Chieda

• A senior at Sekiba High who is in the same dance club as Iris. She is good good friends with Iris. Through her, she is good friends with Mizuki. She was raised in a wealthy family and has a fondness of fairy tales.
  • Physics on the hair, partially her hat, and skirt.

Kuruto Ryuki

• One of the protagonists during the Half Body Serial Killings case. He's well-tempered, but he always seems too eager to prove himself to his superiors. He is a big fan of Kaname Date, as he acts as a major source of moral support. He has a strong sense of justice due to his strong dislike of criminals. Paired with his AI partner Tama, there's nothing they can't do.

Lien Twining

• A rather large individual, Lien is a straightforward fool with a checkered past as a thief. The moment he laid his eyes on Kizuna's dance routine in Matsushita Diner, he knew he found the love of his life.

Mizuki

• Daughter of Renju Okiura and Shoko Nadami, she currently lives with Date. She is quite mature for her age, being 12 years old during the events of the first game. She can hold her own pretty well, as she has strong physical abilities. She always carries a pipe with her, just in case she needs to get physical.

Moma Kumakura

• A seemingly intimidating member of the Kumakura Family, he's actually an ally to the investigations of both games. He is disgusted by senseless violence and old-school yakuza traditions. Behind that demeanor is a massive A-Set fan. He often melts around whenever Iris is around.

Ota Matsushita

• One of A-Set's biggest fans. He even goes as far as defending her on To-Witter. He writes his own light novels and even gets editing advice from Mizuki. He is a person of interest during the events of the first game.

Pewter

• The engineer behind the Psync Machine, the device that lets Syncers enter someone's Somnium. Working underneath boss, he has helped Date and Mizuki greatly with his invention. While he does complain about Boss and Date giving him extra work, he does have a calm and professional demeanor.

Tama

• The AI partner of Ryuki during the Half Body Serial Killings. She has a motherly personality, being both stern and kind. She can quickly snap back at Ryuki if he disrespects her in any way. She also doubles as sort of a counselor to him, providing advice during investigations.
  • Physics on the hair, breasts, and tail ends of her outfit.

Tearer

• The main antagonist of the second game. Who is behind the mask, and what is he after?
  • Physics on the coat and scarf thingy around his neck.

Tokiko Shigure

• Tokiko is the President of the Japan Branch of Naixatloz. She is an emotionless human being. She believes all life is a simulation.
  • Physics on her hair.

Unlockable Outfits

• Aiba and Tama in their hot dog outfits from the second game. They cost 150 credits each in the store.
  • Physics on the ends of the hot dogs.

Quirks

• I tried my best with the physics and colliders. They're not 100% perfect, but I did the best I could with them.

Instructions

• Just install the mod and enjoy! Nothing needs to be configured.
