Unveiled
A modpack meant to deepen and enrich the horror of Lethal Company without changing the base experience too much. A Vanilla+ experience centred around new encounters, being caught off guard, and actively hunted through the dark. This modpack has been tested for over 100 hours, so stability shouldn’t be an issue (assuming I exported it correctly). Across dozens of sessions, I’ve only had two crashes. Hardware requirements aren’t exact, but I run it smoothly on an i5-13600KF and 3060 Ti. If you’re in the same range, heavy performance issues/crashes should be rare and usually unrelated to the pack itself—more often Thunderstore or Steam acting up. If that happens, just restart both and you should be fine.
I’ve tested this on both Windows and Linux with no difference in stability, so your OS shouldn’t matter.
That said, there are a couple of bugs (The game update was not kind to this modpack. Not sure if I'll ever be able to resolve the issues fully without just remaking the whole pack):
Sanity drain bug – Occasionally, your sanity metre will drain constantly at a slow rate regardless of your current location or situation. The cause is unclear, but it seems host-related; when the host dies, the issue resolves.
Lobby join bug – In certain cases, if a player’s loading screen hangs too long, they’ll eventually spawn broken:
- Appearing with a generic name (Player#1).
- No voice chat (they can’t hear you, and you can’t hear them).
- Their name overwriting yours in the player list.
- On their end, spawning into a void with yellow fog and random stats (weight/health/battery %).
Despite these quirks, the modpack is still remarkably stable for its size and fully playable.
Have fun—and try not to die :D
