Press F1 to open the Domain menu, choose with 1-7, and press Enter to activate. Direct Domain shortcuts have been removed. Each player receives the configured number of domain uses after the ship lands and returns to zero uses in orbit.
Hollow Purple
Press F2 to open the Ability menu, select Hollow Purple with 1, and press Enter while alive on a landed moon. The synchronized 20-second sequence follows distinct anime-inspired stages: Lapse Blue forms first, Reversal Red ignites separately, both spiral together, and their collision creates a compact violet imaginary mass with a release shockwave. Walking remains locked during charging, camera aiming remains available, and the caster receives charge i-frames. At release, Hollow Purple snapshots the caster's current view direction and can no longer be steered.
The large layered plasma projectile travels forward for 20 seconds with expanding shock rings, dragged debris, a luminous corona and a broad destructive wake. It passes through level geometry, instantly defeats contacted players and enemies except its caster, and uses host-authoritative multiplayer hit detection. Its supplied theme plays from 02:05 to 02:53; release occurs at 02:25, approximately one second before the 02:26 drop.
Configuration
Open LethalConfig and select LethalCompanyMod to edit:
- Domains Per Moon - sets how many domains each player can use per landed moon (1-20).
- Infinite Domains (Debug) - gives every player unlimited domain uses while landed.
In multiplayer, the host's values control the lobby and are synchronized to every client.
Multiple separate domains can exist at the same time. You may open a domain whenever you are not currently inside another domain. Closed domains use isolated session arenas and leave an opaque, solid black barrier sphere at their casting location until that specific domain closes.
For synchronized multiplayer behavior, every player should install the same version. The separate Ability menu and revised Hollow Purple sequence require all clients to use version 1.20.0 or newer, and Time Cell Moon Palace and Chimera Shadow Garden require 1.23.0 or newer.
Time Cell Moon Palace
Naoya Zen'in's domain (key 6) is a closed barrier. Inside is a black void over a giant film reel. A giant 3D lunar eye watches the arena in front of a full moon: sculpted lids, a violet and silver iris, a gold inner ring and a recessed pupil. Its brass halo has 24 divisions, and a ring of film frames turns around the arena like a zoetrope. Everything in the domain moves on a 24 FPS grid.
The sure-hit is Projection Sorcery applied to the body's cells:
- Two lines of film run from the eye's tear ducts into the neck of every player and enemy inside. The pupil contracts when the rule is broken.
- Anyone who moves breaks the 24 FPS rule. They are frozen in a cel, which shatters, and their cells tear for damage.
- Standing still is safe. The caster moves freely.
- Players see a film gate at the screen edges with a frame counter.
Chimera Shadow Garden
Megumi Fushiguro's incomplete domain (key 7) has no barrier and no sure-hit. The world flashes to a negative, a spine descends from the sky and dissolves, and Megumi's shadow floods the real ground around the caster as a glossy sea of ink.
- Slow: everyone else wades through it slowly.
- Divine Dogs: they leap out of the shadow and bite.
- Great Serpent: it rises and slams down.
- Nue: it circles overhead and strikes with lightning.
- Rabbit Escape: rabbits scatter across the surface.
- Shadow clones: clones of Megumi stand in the flood holding the seal.
Sounds
Both new domains play an incantation when cast, a theme from the moment the domain opens, and their own effect sounds. The shipped voice lines, music and effects are original synthesized audio.
To use your own clips, put an .mp3 with the same name into the sounds folder; it takes priority over the shipped .ogg:
naoya_domain_expansionandmegumi_domain_expansion: incantations, played from the start of the cast.naoya_time_cell_moon_palaceandmegumi_chimera_shadow_garden: themes, starting when the domain opens.
Installation
Install the ZIP with a Thunderstore-compatible mod manager, or copy its BepInEx folder into the game folder. The DLL, sounds and textures folders must stay together inside BepInEx/plugins/LethalCompanyMod.
Thunderstore installs these required packages automatically:
BepInEx-BepInExPack-5.4.2305AinaVT-LethalConfig-1.4.6
When importing the ZIP as a local mod, install both requirements manually because local imports do not resolve Thunderstore dependencies.
Updates retain the identity TheLobotomyCompany-LethalCompanyMod. The ZIP includes explicit author metadata and is named TheLobotomyCompany-LethalCompanyMod-1.23.1.zip. If the import dialog asks for details, use author TheLobotomyCompany, name LethalCompanyMod and version 1.23.1 so it matches the existing installation. For a Thunderstore release, upload under the same TheLobotomyCompany team with the unchanged package name.
