Kolle Kompanie
[v73] Discover more moons as you play. Features lots of new moons & interiors while adding a few more hazards such as new weathers & monsters. We also got QoL & bug fixes, funny scraps and videogame or cartoon themed suits.Description
This is (yet another) fun modpack that i put together for my friends, this time fully compatible for v73! Kolle Kompany is not intended to be used as a base for your own modpack, it's is a curated experience meant to be played as-is. Expect things to break or no longer working when putting in new mods or removing existing ones.
Contents
- 25 new moons (9 free & 18 paid) with each differing drastically from each other, no two moons are alike
- 9 new interiors (technically 12) offering new challenges and hazards to overcome
- 5 new monsters, 2 being interior only, that all have unique AI and such, there are a few reskins as well but i don't count them as new monsters
- 3 new traps that can generate randomly in every interior
- 6 new weather types, offering more randomness and a more engaging experience when outside
- 2 equipment slots! They won't hold any scrap but you can put in every equipment as well as any item worth 0 credits, including keys
- Moon selection starts small and expands after each successful quota, paid moons sometimes are on sale too
- Carefully tweaked spawn counts of scrap items and enemies as well as interior spawn chances per moon, and moon prices themselves
- Many useful QoL improvements such as a bigger ship, a mute key, a suit & player volume saver, holding RMB to keep scanning, more readable terminal, typing SCAN at terminal to view exact value on ship while in orbit, use walkie at terminal, toggle flashlight & walkie, etc.
- Improved usability for vanilla equipment such as faster lockpickers, infinite and faster spray paint, better cruiser controls, etc.
- Some performance-improving mods for low-end users as well as graphical improvements for those with beefier PCs
- Random assortment of scraps, suits and cosmetics, mostly videogame themed and one being themed after my fav group of german Youtubers
- Whenever your quota goal reaches a 2000 credits milestone you gain an additional day (up to 7 days max)
- You can buy an insurance while in orbit for 100 credits saving all your scrap for the next day in case of a full team wipe, but it expires afterwards
- Too many emotes to completely ruin whatever is left of this game's horror atmosphere
What's different from my old modpack? (Andthomas Kolles Pack)
It's similar to my previous modpack, but there are some changes made for this one due to being on v73 now, i'll list some changes i still remember:
- All of the old modded interiors are gone and replaced by Wesley's interiors
- Some of the old moons didn't make it but there are many new ones, and a few of the old moons got some nice reworks too
- More weather effects, there were no good weather mods on v72 so the old modpack was stuck with vanilla weathers only
- Better Emotes is replaced with TooManyEmotes
- Instead of having to expand your hotbar slots you already start with 6 but the 2 highlighted ones on the left only accept equipment
- It takes twice as long to gain more days per quota, we figured having 4+ days only began to matter when the quota goal was nearing 2000
- As of modpack version 1.2.0 there are no custom models anymore for performance and stability reasons
Other than that it's basically the same overall experience, just more refined and polished thanks to many mods getting crucial bug fixes for their v73 updates. I will keep updating this modpack, probably until i grow tired of it and start a new and different one, probably won't be until v80 though.
Play to have fun!
This modpack has not been designed for competitive players, sweaty try-hards, or quitters. (people who close lobbies during a team-wipe) If you're looking for a hardcore difficult experience that puts your skills to the test i recommend looking elsewhere.
Known Issues
- Some items can desync for other players, showing them on the ground but not able to be picked up because another player already did
- Depending on the moon, interior and amount of players it can potentially take quite long to generate a seed
- Redstone Torch shows a white image in the hotbar, not sure what happened there
