Devious Traps

Adds 4 traps, a saw turret, flame turret, soundcannon, and mouse traps. Configurable.

  • Added mouse traps in 3 sizes, small, medium, and large.
  • small traps latch onto players, dealing 12 damage. Pry them off with a held weapon.
  • Large traps simply deal 36 damage.
  • Giant traps instakill, and have bait that you can attempt to pry off.
  • Getting the bait off can be done, but you have to be very careful.
  • Saw blades from saw turrets cut you in half at sufficient velocity.
  • Fixed a strange shading bug on the sound cannon that made it glow a bit.

  • Fixed a bug where mouse traps looked disabled after being hit but they actually aren't
  • Fixed a bug where mouse traps disabled via shovel would not be synchronized visually across clients.

  • Added the ability to tweak how hard it is to get the bait from a giant mouse trap.
  • Made the default hitbox for Giant Mouse Trap items less forgiving.

  • Saw turrets and sound turrets no longer snap to a target player's position.
  • Instead, they rotate at a fixed speed to find an opponent.
  • Rotation speeds for these turrets are adjustable in lethalconfig.

  • Saw turrets aim directly at the player if the player is within a 30 degree cone instead of missing (bugfix from 1.4.7)
  • Saw blades are less likely to get stuck in walls than before.
  • Saw blades are easier to push around.
