Elevator Music Mod for Lethal Company

A simple mod that replaces the default elevator music in Lethal Company with your own custom playlist. The mod ensures that no songs repeat until the entire playlist has been played through.

Dependencies

• BepInEx-BepInExPack-5.4.2305 (or newer)
• AinaVT-LethalConfig-1.4.6 (or newer)

Installation

1. Install the required dependencies first
2. Download the mod and extract it to your BepInEx/plugins folder
3. Run the game once to generate the configuration files
4. Add your music files to the ElevatorMusic folder inside the mod directory

Configuration

The mod can be configured through the LethalConfig in-game menu or by editing the configuration file:

Settings

• Enable Mod: Toggle the mod on/off
• Music Volume: Adjust the volume (0.0 - 1.0)
• Music Folder Path: Change the folder name where music files are stored (default: "ElevatorMusic")

Adding Music

1. Navigate to the mod folder: BepInEx/plugins/ElevatorMusicMod/
2. Open the ElevatorMusic folder (or your custom folder name)
3. Copy your music files (MP3, WAV, OGG) into this folder
4. Restart the game or enter an elevator to reload the music

How It Works

• When you enter an elevator, the mod automatically plays a random song from your playlist
• Songs are queued in a random order and won't repeat until all songs have been played
• When the playlist is exhausted, it reshuffles and starts over
• The default elevator music is suppressed while the mod is active
• Volume can be adjusted in real-time through the config menu

Troubleshooting

Music not playing

• Ensure you have music files in the correct folder
• Check that the mod is enabled in the configuration
• Verify the file formats are supported (MP3, WAV, OGG)

Configuration not saving

• Make sure LethalConfig is properly installed
• Check that you have write permissions in the game directory

Performance issues

• Try using smaller music files or compressed formats
• Limit the number of music files in the folder
