FlowermanShapeshifter.csproj- C# project fileProperties/AssemblyInfo.cs- mod metadataFlowermanShapeshifter.cs- main mod implementation and placeholder systems
Installation
- Install BepInExPack for Lethal Company (download from GitHub and run installer).
- Build the project in Visual Studio using .NET Framework 4.7.2.
- Copy
FlowermanShapeshifter.dllinto the game'sBepInEx/pluginsfolder. - Place required references in a
libsfolder next to the project:BepInEx.dll,UnityEngine.dll,0Harmony.dll,Assembly-CSharp.dll(from Lethal Company game folder). - Add victim audio files in
BepInEx/plugins/FlowermanShapeshifter/Audio/<victim-name>/as.wavor.ogg.
Notes
- This mod hooks into FlowermanAI kills and damage.
- Requires Harmony for patching.
- Shapeshift visual is placeholder; full model swap may need more work.
- Tested for basic functionality; real game integration may need tweaks.
Notes
- The current code is a functional skeleton, not a drop-in mod for the released game.
- Game-specific hooks and voice/audio APIs must be implemented once the game's assemblies are available.
- Replace placeholder methods such as
OnVictimTaken,ListenToNearbySpeech, and appearance swapping with actual Lethal Company logic. - Add real victim audio samples in
Mods/FlowermanShapeshifter/Audio/<victim-name>/as.wavfiles so the mod can play their recordings.
Features
- captures victim metadata
- schedules shapeshift transition
- keeps a per-victim response queue
- generates contextual text responses based on nearby speech
- reverts shapeshift after 30 seconds and starts chasing
- backs away and plays hit response when damaged while shapeshifted
Extending the mod
- Add actual game event patches using Harmony or MelonLoader patching.
- Hook into the game's voice chat or audio system to capture real recordings.
- Add real TTS playback or audio source replacements for shapeshifted responses.
