LethalBotsWheel

A radial command wheel for your LethalBots. Hold a key, aim at a slice, let go. You can order your bots around without stopping to look at them or type anything.

Usage

• Hold V (default) to open the wheel. Let go on a slice to run that command. If you would rather press once to open and press again to fire, switch Activation to Toggle in the config.
• Move the mouse to pick a command.
• Scroll to choose who it applies to: All Bots, Nearest, or one bot by name. It remembers your last pick.
• Right click cycles through the pages.
• Number keys 1 to 8 fire a slice directly, like an emote wheel.
• While the wheel is open your game inputs are paused, so scrolling and key presses do not leak into the game.

Page 1: Follow, Lead Way, Wait Here, Regroup, To Ship, Grab Loadout, Man Ship, Go To Bot (warps you to a bot)

Page 3: Collect Delivery

Commands that only make sense for a single bot (Man Ship, Go To Bot, Take Off, Report) will not offer the All Bots target. If you are dead the wheel hides targets you cannot use, and if you are spectating one of your own bots it points the target at that bot by default.

Config

Opening and feel

• OpenKey: the key or mouse button that opens the wheel. Default V. Also takes Mouse5, Mouse4, Mouse3, or any key name.
• Activation: Hold (open while held, fires on release) or Toggle (press to open, press again to fire).
• WheelSize / Deadzone / CursorSize: size and feel of the wheel and aiming cursor.
• CursorFreeRoam: let the cursor fly past the ring so you can flick toward a slice. Off clamps it to the wheel edge.
• CenterTextScale: size of the text in the middle of the wheel.
• FreezeViewWhileOpen: keeps the camera still while you aim. Recommended.

Targets and pages

• NextPageBind / PrevPageBind: buttons to flip pages. Default next is right-click; prev is off.
• NextTargetBind / PrevTargetBind: optional keys to cycle the target (All Bots / Nearest / a bot by name).
• ScrollCyclesTarget: let the scroll wheel cycle the target. Turn off to use only the target binds, or if scroll conflicts with something.
• InvertTargetScroll: flip the scroll direction.

Range and walkie-talkies

• MaxFollowLeadRange: Follow and Lead Way grey out on a bot farther than this many metres (default 50). Set to 0 to remove the range limit.
• WalkieRange: when on, Follow and Lead Way stay usable on a far bot if you hold an active walkie and that bot also carries one, so you can command it over the radio. Default on.
• LongRangeNeedsWalkie: radio-range mode. When on, every command (not just Follow and Lead Way) greys out on a far bot unless you and that bot both hold a walkie. Go To Bot is exempt. Off by default.

Behavior

• ControlBotsWhileDead: open the wheel and command bots while dead and spectating. Commands needing a living body stay greyed out. Default off.
• FollowKeepsUpWhenFar: bots that are following keep pathing to you past ~25m instead of losing you around corners. Default on.
• AutoScavengeWhenDead: when you die, keep bots on their last task (hauling keeps hauling, scavengers resume scavenging) instead of standing idle. Default off.

Advanced

• HotkeyNumberNudgeX / HotkeyNumberNudgeY: fine-tune the position of the 1-8 hotkey numbers in their chips. Leave at default unless they look off-center.

Multiplayer

Everyone who has the mod gets their own wheel, and it only commands the bots you own. It does not need to be host only.
