This modpack punishes lack of communication, enforces a slower and methodical playstyle, and overall adds a different feel to the game. Here's some specifics:
- All scrap value is significantly decreased by default, while scrap quantity is significantly increased and dungeon size is also increased. Loot is more spread out and costs less, but on paper is only slightly less than vanilla. But in practice you'll find it to be way harder. **Example: Experimentation with no weather effects has 2x dungeon size, 0.4x scrap value, and 2x scrap quantity. However, Rainy Experimentation will have a 1.75x dungeon size, 0.55x scrap value, and 1.75x scrap quantity.
- Timescale is decreased to 0.85x to allow more detailed expeditions
- All clocks other than one on the terminal and one on the monitors inside of the ship have been disabled
- All notifications, for example, scrap placed in ship or the warning at 11pm have been disabled
- Designed specifically so everything is lore friendly: everything matches the look of vanilla Lethal Company, no meme sounds, goofy monsters, or anything like that
- Many many many small changes in almost everything. Much of them specifically to annoy the player (Malfunctions & ghostCodes)
- Many performance mods and pretty good research dedicated to eliminating bloat. On my computer with 32 gigabytes of ram, this modpack only takes up 3.8gb, though it's obviously different for everybody.
- And more!
This modpack is designed to be used alone but mods can definitely be added to your own discretion.
Note: Beehives have been removed because currently there is no way to scale their prices with other scrap items.
Update 1.1.0 :
- (Re)added Apparatus price scaling
- Scan tweaks
Update 1.2.0 :
- Might have fixed crashing? (Removed a few mods)
- Redid scrap multiplier system, had to disable custom weathers such as Cloudy and Meteor Shower, literally no other way.
Update 1.2.1 :
- Removed the test starting credits, was 2000, now 250, oops
Update 1.2.2 :
- 4 day quota, it felt good during a playthrough
