TriTipDagger
Adds Risk of Rain 2's Tri-Tip Dagger as a Blue powerup: 10% (+10% per stack) chance on hit to bleed for 240% of your weapon's base damage over 3s. Each bleed runs out on its own. Everyone in the lobby needs it.Tri-Tip Dagger
Adds Tri-Tip Dagger, a new Blue powerup inspired by Risk of Rain 2, to Muck.
10% (+10% per stack) chance on hit to bleed an enemy for 240% of your weapon's base damage over 3s. Each bleed runs out on its own.
Base damage is the attack of the weapon in your hand times your strength multiplier (Dumbbell and Berserk). For a bow it is the bow's attack times the arrow's attack. Crits, Sniper Scope, Crowbar, Pen Nib, backstabs and the size of the hit do not change the bleed.
Each bleed ticks four times a second for 3 seconds and deals 20% of base damage per tick. Every proc is its own bleed with its own 3-second clock. A new proc adds damage on top but does not extend the bleeds already running, so each proc deals exactly 240%. Ticks pay whole damage and carry the fraction to the next tick, so a bleed can come out almost 1 short of 240%. A tick that comes out to 0 sends nothing. Ten daggers is a 100% chance. Further daggers stay at 100%.
- Melee swings (including a swing while holding a Rock) and arrows can bleed.
- A bleed tick uses weapon type -1, so the tick cannot apply this mod or proc Evan's other powerups.
- Knuts Hammer and other weapon type -1 hits do not bleed.
- The tick goes through Muck's normal hit path, so armor, kills, and loot stay on the host. Armor rounds each tick down, so a 1-damage tick deals 0 to an armored mob.
- Tri-Tip Dagger drops from Blue chests and shrines like any other Blue powerup.
Deviations from Risk of Rain 2
- There is no proc coefficient. Duration stays 3 seconds. Chance is not scaled by a coefficient. Melee swings and arrows are full procs. Weapon type -1 is not.
- Chance stops at 100%. Ten daggers proc on every roll, including a roll of 1.
- Bleed stacks are not capped.
- Base damage is read when the hit lands. An arrow that lands after you switch weapons uses the weapon you now hold.
- The attacker's machine runs the bleed. There is no bleed packet of our own.
Multiplayer
Every player in the lobby needs this mod, same version. A vanilla peer has no entry for the new powerup id and will error when a Tri-Tip Dagger drops. Each attacker's own machine runs that player's bleeds. The host applies the tick the same way it applies any other hit.
Config
BepInEx/config/evan.muck.tritipdagger.cfg (created on first launch):
| Setting | Default | |
|---|---|---|
ChancePerDagger |
0.1 | Chance added by each dagger, from 0 to 1. The total stops at 1 |
BaseDamageFractionPerTick |
0.2 | Damage per tick as a fraction of base damage, from 0 to 10. 0.2 for 12 ticks is 240% |
ProcBleedSeconds |
3 | Length of each bleed in seconds, from 0.25 to 30, as whole ticks at 4 per second |
GiveDaggerKey |
(none) | Debug key that gives you one stack locally |
VerboseLogging |
false | Logs each proc |
0.2.0 renamed TickDamageFraction and BleedSeconds, because their meaning changed. A value you set in 0.1.0 is ignored. Set the new keys instead.
Each player's config controls the bleeds that player applies. The values are not synced. The hover text updates when these values change.
