Whats New:

Skill Tree: Oath of Sanctity (Paladin)

The Paladin is a frontline protector. Everything in this tree is built around standing between your allies and what is trying to reach them — wards you carry for the group, smites that punish what gets through, and a healing hand that answers whoever needs it most.

Oath of Sanctity

Trainer: Paladin Astora, at the shrine in the Antique Field.

Lay on Hands - Lay on Hands (50 silver. Restore health and stamina and reduce the potency of bleed and poison effects. Downgrades Extreme Bleeding and Extreme Poison to their lesser forms, keeping the remaining duration. If an ally is within reach, the blessing flows to them instead.)

Vow of Enmity - Vow of Enmity (50 silver. Mark a foe with divine judgment, drawing their aggression, reducing their decay and ethereal damage by 10% as well as weakening their lightning resistance by 10%.)

Aura of Protection - Aura of Protection (500 silver, Breakthrough. Passive. Elatt's grace radiates from you, granting 3 Barrier and 3 Protection. Allies near you share in your sanctified aura.)

Shield of Faith - Shield of Faith (600 silver. Choice — excludes Sacred Weapon. Call upon the Wind of Passion, letting its fierce conviction shape your last acquired boon into a protective art, carrying its protection through you and sharing part of it with nearby allies.)

Sacred Weapon - Sacred Weapon (600 silver. Choice — excludes Shield of Faith. Passive. Whenever you cast a weapon infusion, the Wind of Fury carries its elemental force outward, empowering nearby allies with the same effect. The Inside Wind steadies your spirit, doubling the duration of your own infusion.)

Divine Smite - Divine Smite (600 silver. Strike with consecrated wrath, dealing physical and lightning damage as divine force shakes the ground.)

Sanctified Hands - Sanctified Hands (600 silver. Passive. Through deeper devotion extending the skill's cooldown, your Lay on Hands becomes a miracle of greater sanctity — restoring 60% missing health and 20% missing stamina and curing disease.)

Wrathful Smite - Wrathful Smite (600 silver. Choice — excludes Searing Smite. Passive. Empower your smite with crushing divine fury, doubling its impact and hampering foes.)

Searing Smite - Searing Smite (600 silver. Choice — excludes Wrathful Smite. Passive. Empower your smite with flame, branding foes with the scorched effect.)

Paladin Interactions

Shield of Faith looks at the last boon you gained and shapes it into a matching guard: Warguard, Runeguard, Spellguard, Veilguard, Rotguard, Steelguard, Flameguard, Frostguard or Shockguard. Each one is a different defensive art with its own block effect, its own aura colour, and its own reward for blocking at the right moment. In co-op, every ally in the blast receives the guard their own last boon earns — not a copy of yours.

Shield of Faith Interactions

Sacred Weapon shares whatever infusion you cast with every nearby ally, and doubles the duration of your own. It reads the infusion off the weapon rather than off the skill, so it also carries the infusions absorbed by Mace Infusion and Shield Infusion.

Sacred Weapon Interactions

Skill Tree: Discipline Domain (Cleric)

The Cleric is a support caster. Its skills reward casting often rather than casting big — several of its passives trigger on every spell you spend mana on, building stacks that spill outward onto everyone standing near you.

Discipline Domain

Trainer: Cleric Aranille, at the shrine in the Antique Field.

Sanctuary - Sanctuary (50 silver. The Light shields you from unwanted attention. Your presence softens and foes are 15% less likely to detect you.)

Guidance of The Winds - Guidance of The Winds (50 silver. Call upon the Inside Wind, the breath of the soul. Your next boon flows through you, carried by the Winds of Kindness and Reason, weaving your spirit's strength into nearby allies.)

Blessed Conduit - Blessed Conduit (500 silver, Breakthrough. Passive. Each spell you cast releases a gentle pulse of healing and mana, restoring 0.2 health per second and 0.2 mana per second to you and nearby allies.)

Preserve Life - Preserve Life (600 silver. Release healing motes that seek injured allies, restoring their health.)

Spiritual Weapon - Spiritual Weapon (600 silver. Invoke the ancient art of the Light Menders, shaping raw luminance into a conjured weapon. The manifested spear strikes nearby foes with searing lightning.)

Divine Haste - Divine Haste (600 silver. Choice — excludes Aura of Vitality. Passive. Each spell you cast stirs divine energy within you, hastening you and nearby allies. Gain 2.5% movement and 0.025 attack speed per stack, up to 4 stacks.)

Aura of Vitality - Aura of Vitality (600 silver. Choice — excludes Divine Haste. Passive. Your restorative magic strengthens each spell you cast, adding 0.1 health per second per stack to you and nearby allies, up to 4 stacks.)

Revitalize - Revitalize (600 silver. Choice — excludes Spirit Guardians. Raise fallen allies, removing burnt health, and invigorate all nearby allies — granting health, stamina and mana recovery, and halving the duration of all debuffs.)

Spirit Guardians - Spirit Guardians (600 silver. Choice — excludes Revitalize. Call forth radiant spirits to protect you, striking any foe who nears with lightning and staggering force, slowing their pursuit.)

Cleric Interactions

Guidance of the Winds works on the same principle as Shield of Faith, from the other direction: instead of turning your boon into a guard, it shares the boon itself outward. Cast it and your next boon reaches every nearby ally at full strength. An amplified boon always wins over a plain one. A plain boon will never overwrite an amplified version somebody already has, and an amplified one arriving on a plain one upgrades it in place.

Guidance of the Winds Interactions

Trainer Location

Both trainers are located in the Antique Field.

The Questline: A Holy Mission

At that same shrine you will find Paladin Caber, the last paladin of Elatt's Relic Hunters, still keeping a vigil nobody else remembers. Speak to him and he will set you on the trail of the order's lost relic weapons, four legendary arms, each one rusted and ruined, each one recoverable if you are willing to retrieve them.

The questline runs in three chapters:

  • A Relic Reclaimed — find Caber, hear what happened to his order, and bring back the first of the ruined weapons.
  • Relic Hunt — recover the rest. Each rusted relic can be restored with the right recipe and materials, and each restored weapon carries a unique charged attack of its own.
  • The Exalted Blade — with the relics recovered, Caber prepares you for the Rites of Ascension.

A word of warning: If you really try to break the questline, you probably will. If for any reason something breaks, I have checkpoints setup in the F5 menu you can use to set certain quest marks as well as F9 to quick despawn and F9 again to respawn any Champions of Elatt NPCs/enemies/items in the area.

Legendary Holy Weapons

Each relic is found ruined and must be restored with its recipe. Every one of them charges as you land ordinary hits, then releases its own effect when full.
