The fixes mod for Aetherial Endeavors. I'll keep updating this as problems in the pack are found and fixed.
This comes with the modpack. You don't need to install it separately. If you already have the pack, update Aetherial Endeavors Fixes in r2modman to get the latest fixes.
Still experimental. The new fixes have passed automated checks and need another in-game test.
What it fixes
- Trainer dialogue: keeps NPCs such as Leo from opening a broken training screen when they only have directions to give you.
- Mages of Aurai: fixes an invalid appearance setting on Mark.
- NPC Weapons: fixes an error during loot setup and the material-loading error affecting Cage Fists.
- FaceMakeover: lets SideLoader find the mod's textures inside its included folder.
- Runic Scrolls / TrainersOfAurai: lets both mods use their identical scroll-quiver asset without trying to load it twice.
- Dragon Knight: fixes Last Stand's TinyHelper mismatch and missing icon lookup.
- TrainersOfAurai / CustomAttributes: restores the missing connection used by Gentle Fist's healing effect.
- WeaponBalancePatch: fixes the broken Priest's Prayers enchantment file.
- Weaponry and Enchantments Additions: fixes the broken Palladium Knuckles file.
- Skip Logos: fixes its startup error.
- SideLoader ExtendedEffects: stops a repeated debug message from filling the game log. Event registration is unchanged.
How it works
The fixes run automatically when the game starts. There's no menu or setup needed.
The patch only changes files it recognizes. Newer mod versions or files you've edited yourself are skipped. Reinstalling a supported mod is fine; its fixes will be applied again on the next launch.
Still being investigated
The missing Shadow knife/dagger conversion recipes and some enchantment and status-effect errors still need work. This is an ongoing fixes mod, and more repairs will be added as their causes are confirmed.
