NPC Weapons


Adds weapons previously only used by NPCs, and were unobtainable by the player. Items such as: Blood Spear, Calixa's Macegun, Lightning Scimitar, Gold-Lich Staff, and many more!

This mod adds:

  • 33 New Weapons
  • 1 Skilltrainer (20 Active Skills and 1 Passive Skill)
  • 1 Disease

Weapons Research

Ethereal Blast - Ethereal Blast(Required: Dreamworld Halberd, Corruption over 50%. Slams the staff into the ground emitting a blast of ethereal doing AoE damage. Caution: Will inflict the player with the disease known as Corruption Poisoning.)

Infernal Crash - Infernal Crash(Required: Scarlet Fang Knuckles. A long distance running tackle which causes a fiery explosion striking both enemies and yourself. Inflicts Burning.)

Sagard's Attack - Sagard's Attack(Required: Sagard's Battleaxes. A simple dual wield attack.)

Chain Lightning - Chain Lightning(Required: Gold-Lich Cannon with a lightning type imbue. Sprays lightning out of the cannon similar to a flamethrower. Increases your Impact Resistance during this attack. Consumes some of the imbue duration.)

Lightning Blast - Lightning Blast(Required: Gold-Lich Staff. Slams the staff into the ground emitting a blast of lightning doing AoE damage.)

Conjure Runic Shield - Conjure Runic Shield(Required: Lexicon. Conjures a Runic Shield which inflicts Haunted on Shield Charge, and acts as a lexicon. Is given Ethereal Shield Imbue if the player has the Runic Prefix passive from Rune Sage Skilltrainer.)

Explosive Chakram Pierce - Explosive Chakram Pierce(Required: Djinn's Chakram, Discipline Boon. Launch the disc forward, possibly hitting the enemy twice and leaving exploding mines behind.)

Sagard's Special Attack - Sagard's Special Attack(Required: Sagard's Battleaxes. A chain of dual wield attacks.)

Fire Cannon - Fire Cannon(Required: Gold-Lich Cannon with a lightning type imbue. Fires a high impact and long range lightning projectile. Consumes some of the imbue duration.)

Sigil of Plasmonics - Sigil of Plasmonics(Required: Resonance Stone. Create a magic circle on the ground. Certain skills have additional effects when cast within this circle. Acts as a resonator with the Gold-Lich Staff.)

Repair Matrix - Repair Matrix(Repaires your worn equipment over time. Restores 1 durability every 5 seconds.)

Conjure Runic Greatmace - Conjure Runic Greatmace(Required: Lexicon. Conjures a Runic Greatmace which acts as a lexicon. Is given Wind Imbue if the player has the Runic Prefix passive from Rune Sage Skilltrainer.)

Energetic Overload - Energetic Overload(Required: Djinn's Chakram, Discipline Boon. Generates a massive explosion which inflicts Panic on enemies.)

Draw Gargoyle Blade - Draw Gargoyle Blade(Required: Urn Backpack or Crackling Urn Backpack. Draws an ephemeral Gargoyle Blade from the Backpack.)

Fire Macegun - Fire Macegun(Required: Calixa's Macegun and all elemental boons. Fires the Macegun dealing high impact.)

Lightning Fragment - Lightning Fragment(Required: Gold-Lich Staff. Does a horizontal swipe ejecting lightning fragments from the staff.)

Decay Wave - Decay Wave(Required: Immaculate Mace, Corruption over 50%. Launch a wave of decay. Caution: Will inflict the player with the disease known as Corruption Poisoning.)

Shockwave Cannon - Shockwave Cannon(Required: Djinn's Chakram, Discipline Boon. Strike the Chakram and emit an acoustic wave which inflicts Crippled on enemies.)

Draw Gargoyle Mace - Draw Gargoyle Mace(Required: Urn Backpack or Crackling Urn Backpack. Draws an ephemeral Gargoyle Mace from the Backpack.)

Fire Crossbow - Fire Crossbow(Required: Giantkind Crossbow and Giantkind Bolts. Fires a high impact and long range crossbow bolt which inflicts Extreme Poison.)

Throw Staff - Throw Staff(Required: Gold-Lich Staff, Sigil of Plasmonics. Throws the staff at the enemy and returns to you afterwards.)

Disease: Corruption Poisoning

All immaculate weapons and weapon skills inflict the disease Corruption Poisoning on the player. This disease can be cleared using a Hex Cleaner, a Fungal Clenser, or a Panacea. It does not inflict its negative effects when in safe areas such as cities.

  • Corruption Poisoning (Gain 3% Corruption per minute. Burn 2 maximum health per minute.)

  • Acute Corruption Poisoning (Gain 6% Corruption per minute. Burn 4 maximum health per minute.)

  • Extreme Corruption Poisoning (Gain 9% Corruption per minute. Burn 6 maximum health per minute.)


Issue Tracking:

Mod Incompatabilities:

  • Medicants: as it is in conflict with SideLoader_ExtendedEffects.

  • Class Fixes: may interpret some of the weapons in this mod as the wrong weapon type.

Bugs (I haven't figured out how to resolve these yet):

  • Bug which causes the Giantkind Crossbow and the Gold-Lich Cannon to fire multiple projectiles at once.

  • Bug which causes Calixa's Gunmace to fire 3 projectiles instead of 2.

  • Bug which causes the Gold-Lich Staff to hover above/below the hands of the player when in the sheathed position.

  • Bug which causes the output_log.txt to be spammed by warnings regarding stacking behaviors of status effects.

  • Bug which causes the output_log.txt to be spammed by imbue warnings as they cannot attach to some of the weapons properly. However, they work fine on a functional level and look normal.


Patch Notes

Version 3.0.0:

  • Some crafting recipies have been removed! More items are now directly attained from the associated enemy. The following items are affected: Cage Fists, Dreamworld Halberd, Butcher Halberd, Calixa's Gunmace, Wolf Tower Shield, Firethorn Claymore, Snowthorn Claymore, Lightning Scimitar.

  • Droprates changed slightly.

  • Added world spawns for the following items: Thermal Spear, Gold-Lich Cannon, Small Golem Rapier, Resonance Stone (new item), Skillet (new item), Spoiled Club (new item).

  • New weapon: Skillet.

  • New weapons: Raw Club, Grilled Club, Spoiled Club with both raw and grilled variety.

  • New weapons: Sagards Battleaxes. DUAL WIELDING IS NOW AVAILABLE. these weapons can be used together to dual wield with the two new skills called "Sagards Attack" and "Sagards Special Attack".

  • Blood Spear: (1) Empowers Jinx to cause a shock wave originating from nearby allies. (2) The spear has the following durability changes (A: durability changed from unbreakable to 100. B: Does not lose durability using regular attacks. C: Gradually loses durability over time, D: durability recharged by bleeding. E: Cannot be repaired by sleeping.). (3) Does not leech life anymore.

  • Blood Sword: (1) Empowers Mana Ward to give health to nearby allies, but gives bleed buildup on the user. (2) The sword has the following durability changes (A: durability changed from unbreakable to 100. B: Does not lose durability using regular attacks. C: Gradually loses durability over time, D: durability recharged by bleeding. E: Cannot be repaired by sleeping.). (3) Does not leech life anymore.

  • Cage Fists: Changed the durability from 250 to 300.

  • Djinn's Chakram: (1) Added a new skill called "Shockwave Cannon" which fires a long distance shockwave that can hit multiple enemies and inflicts Cripple Buildup. (2) Added a new skill called "Energetic Overload" which causes a large explosion and inflicts panic on enemies. (3) Reduced the damage of the chakram from 18 to 15 Ethereal and Lightning Damage. (4) Decreases now status resistance by 15%.

  • Giantkind Crossbow: (1) Increased the base physical damage from 40 to 45. (2) Changed the weapon type from 2H Mace to 2H Axe. (3) Reduced durability usage on the Fire Crossbow skill from 5 to 1.

  • Giantkind Katana: Added a normal texture.

  • Gold-Lich Cannon: (1) The associated skills had their damage values adjusted. (2) Using the skills reduce the imbue lifespan by 10 seconds. (3) Using Chain Lightning now gives 35 Impact Resistance. (4) Some under the hood changes to make it compatitable with future custom imbues introduced in other mods (Mystic Electric Imbue from Class_fix1 now also be compatible with this skills).

  • Gold-Lich Staff: (1) Added a new skill called "Lightning Fragment". (2) Added a new skill called "Sigil of Plasmonics" which enhances/enables Gold-Lich skills as well as converts mana to stamina over time while you stand in its vicinity. (3) Changed the animation for throw staff. (4) Adjusted the damage values of the skills. (5) Gold-Lich Staff acts as a lightsource and has a bloom effect. (6) Gold-Lich Staff is now unbreakable.

  • Lightning Scimitar: (1) Increased the durability to 325. (2) Increased mana cost reduction from 5% to 10%

  • Scarlet Fang Knuckles: (1) New skill for Scarlet Fang Knuckles called Infernal Crash which inflicts damage and burning buildup on enemies and the user. (2) Lowers Ethreal Resistance by 20%. (3) Increased the Impact Damage from 18 to 23.

  • Shovel: (1) Fixed the normal texture. Should look better in the sun now. (2) Increased the damage from 13 to 16 Physical Damage.

  • Wolf Tower Shield: Flipped (mirrored) the shield so it is accurate to how Calixa holds it.

  • Repair Matrix: Increased the repair rate to 1 every 5 seconds (used to be 1 every 8 seconds).

  • Hopefully fixed a collision issue with the Urn Backpack and the Crackling Urn Backpack which caused it to bounce on the ground.

  • Hopefully fixed a bug where certain weapons such as the rake could move your co-op partner by striking them.

  • Fixed a bug where internalized lexicon was not recognized by the conjure shield and conjure greatmace skills.

  • Fixed a bug where Lightning Blast and Ethereal Blast could be cast with the weapon sheathed.

  • Fixed some outdated item descriptions.

Version 2.0.0:

  • Fixed the broken folder system caused by patching the mod wrong in version 1.1.1 and version 1.1.0.
