Peak Convenient Backpacks
A quality-of-life mod for PEAK that reduces the weight of items stored in backpacks, making inventory management more convenient while exploring.
Features
- Configurable weight reduction for items stored in backpacks
- Default 50% weight reduction (fully adjustable)
- Compatible with multiplayer (only needed on the client side)
- No impact on game balance beyond making backpacks more useful
Installation
- Install BepInEx 5 if you haven't already
- Extract the mod archive into your PEAK game directory
- Launch the game
Configuration
After running the game once with the mod installed, a configuration file will be created at:
BepInEx/config/PeakConvenientBackpacks.cfg
You can adjust the following settings:
BackpackWeightReductionPercentage: How much the weight of items in backpacks should be reduced (0-100%)
- Default: 50 (items weigh half as much when in backpacks)
- Set to 0 for no reduction (vanilla behavior)
- Set to 100 for items to weigh nothing when in backpacks
Compatibility
This mod patches a single method related to weight calculation and should be compatible with most other mods. If you encounter any issues, please report them on the mod page or GitHub repository.
