ScoreRace

English

Overview

ScoreRace is a score competition for R.E.P.O. Compete on matching stages, with one player per team for individual competition or several teammates cooperating. Up to 150 participants, including spectators, can join; at most 144 players compete. Solo remains a score attack.

Earn points for delivery, clear time and avoiding damage, plus box and hunt bonuses. Individual death scores zero. In multiplayer, the shared score becomes zero when the whole team is eliminated.

Requirements

  • Every player needs ScoreRace and BepInExPack 5.4.2100 or a later compatible version.
  • Everyone must use the same mods and mod settings. ScoreRace's own gameplay settings are the exception: the host's settings apply to everyone.
  • REPOConfig is optional and provides the in-game settings screen.

Installation

Install with a compatible mod manager and launch using Modded. For manual installation, place ScoreRace.dll in your profile's BepInEx/plugins folder. Avoid installing more than one copy.

Install REPOConfig as well if you want to change settings in the game.

Multiplayer

  • Up to 150 participants, with at most 144 competitors. Initial spectators count toward the total. Starting a race requires at least one competitor.
  • The host chooses gameplay settings; guests use those settings automatically.
  • A one-person team plays its own stage. Multiple teammates cooperate in one stage and share their result. Other teams play separate matching stages.
  • Joining during a race places you in Spectators after your mods and settings are checked. The race continues. You can choose a competitive slot in the next lobby.
  • Team hosts are selected by average teammate ping. If the global host is in a team of two or more and another member averages 50 ms or less, the lowest-ping qualifying member is preferred. If all alternatives exceed 50 ms, the global host is also eligible. Exactly 50 ms qualifies. One-person teams use their sole member; ties use a consistent order.
  • This rule applies at the start and when a disconnected team host is replaced. Replacement uses the remaining members and preserves team progress and remaining revivals.
  • If the lobby host leaves after the start, a remaining participant takes over the next-race controls.

Starting a race

  1. For solo play, select SINGLEPLAYER from the title.
  2. For multiplayer, the host selects PRIVATE GAME, chooses a region and waits for everyone in the lobby.
  3. Open PLAYERS [TAB] to assign competitors, teams or initial spectators. The host selects START GAME. Once the stage is ready, a countdown starts the race.
  4. During a race, use Esc → QUIT TO MENU to leave.

Singleplayer and Private Game skip save selection. Public Game and Tutorial are hidden on the title while ScoreRace is enabled.

Assigning participants

Open PLAYERS [TAB] in the standard lobby. The panel contains a large MEMBERS list, SPECTATORS, TEAM 1-24, and RANDOM. The host can move anyone; participants can move themselves. Your own row stays first on every page and while scrolling.

Drag an entire member row to a destination, or click a member and then click a destination. Scroll the member list with the wheel or UP / DOWN. Members already in a team can also be dragged from that team. The cursor stays in front of the panel and the carried name.

New participants fill empty teams in team-number order. Once every team has a member, new arrivals join the team with the fewest members; ties use the lower team number. If all 144 competitive slots are occupied, new arrivals enter Spectators. You can still choose RANDOM manually. One player per team is individual competition; placing multiple players in the same team makes them cooperate. There is no mode switch. A team holds at most six, and at most 144 people can compete. Participants beyond 144 enter Spectators. Everyone, including a lone host, can move into Spectators in the lobby. Starting a race requires at least one competitor.

Random-slot members are distributed when the race starts; explicit choices are kept. With TeamCount set to 0, random placement uses up to 24 team slots, balancing any additional competitors. Use CLOSE, Tab or Esc to close the panel. Buttons and the foreground cursor use the game's standard appearance. Hover focus has a white outline and blue background; selected controls have an orange outline.

Team competition

Up to 24 teams can compete, with one to six members each and no more than 144 competitors overall. Teammates cooperate on one stage and earn one shared score. Every team faces the same stage conditions.

A team starts with three shared revivals by default. Each revival uses one. At zero, no revival method works; an already reserved final revival can finish. Once every connected teammate is dead, the team is eliminated, its total becomes zero and revival is permanently blocked, even if unused revivals remain.

Smaller teams receive 250 points per missing member compared with the largest starting team, by default. A one-person team facing a six-person team gets +1,250. Quitting never increases this bonus, and elimination removes it with the rest of the score.

Spectating and voice chat

Choose Spectators in the lobby to watch from the start without competing. Joining during a race also places you in Spectators, including when returning after a disconnect. Spectators can watch any living competitor and see available results. They count toward the 150-person limit and have no score.

After death in an active team, use the game's normal spectator controls to watch living teammates. After team elimination, or a one-person team's death, you can watch other competitors. < PLAYER / PLAYER > or Left/Right change the remote target. RESULTS [F1] switches between results and spectating. Results appear briefly before post-elimination spectating begins.

Your state Who you can speak with
Living team member Living teammates
Dead, team still active Dead teammates only
Eliminated team or individual competitor TEAM: eliminated teammates using TEAM. GLOBAL: eliminated competitors and initial spectators using GLOBAL.
Initial or late-joining spectator Other spectators and eliminated competitors using GLOBAL

After elimination, use VOICE: TEAM / GLOBAL [F2] or press F2 to switch channels. The default is GLOBAL; both players must select the same channel. Initial and late-joining spectators always use GLOBAL.

Dead participants and spectators cannot speak with living competitors. The game's microphone choice, mute and push-to-talk settings are respected.

Stage selection and rematches

By default, each race draws a level from 1–20, a stage and a new seed. You can restrict the level range and stage choices, or set fixed conditions.

REMATCH draws again using the same host settings as the previous race. A random seed always changes from the immediately preceding race; randomly chosen levels or stage types may repeat. Fixed settings stay fixed. Settings edited during a race apply when starting again from the lobby.

To repeat the same conditions, turn off RandomLevel, RandomStage and RandomSeed, then choose FixedLevel, FixedStage and FixedSeed.

Starting supplies

Each competitor receives the following default quantities. Teammates can share their supplies; spectators receive none. Item choices are drawn from the configured pools, with the same result for everyone. Melee and ranged weapons never repeat within one player's supplies; too few distinct candidates reduce the supplied quantity.

Set Level Carts Healing Melee Control Ranged
A 1–3 1 1 1 1 0
B 4–6 1 2 1 0 0
C 7–9 1 2 1 1 1
D 10–12 2 3 2 2 1
E 13–16 2 3 2 2 2
F 17–20 2 4 2 3 2

Every set also receives one Feather, one Indestructible and one Zero Gravity drone. Charge, Heal and Roll drones are excluded. These three fixed drones are separate from the table above.

The truck charger starts at 30% with three crystals. Supplied items with batteries start fully charged. Upgrades are provided for the selected level; their default counts are listed under Configuration.

Scoring

Delivery has no score cap. Delivering the stage's starting valuable value earns 5,000 points; additional eligible value earns 40% of the original rate, with no upper limit. Time is worth up to 3,000 and Safety up to 2,000, with box and hunt bonuses added on top. There is no 10,000-point ceiling for the base score.

Category Rule
Delivery Let R = eligible delivered value ÷ starting valuable value. Up to R = 1: 5,000 × R. Above 1: 5,000 + 2,000 × (R − 1). No upper limit.
Time: 2+ teams The fastest surviving clear earns 3,000. Subtract 2 points for every second behind it, down to zero.
Time: solo / 1 team 3,000 × (1 − elapsed seconds ÷ reference time), down to zero. Reference time = 600 + 60 × (level − 1) + 180 × (extraction points − 1) seconds. Use the total extraction-point count at stage start.
Safety 2,000 × (1 − total damage ÷ twice your starting maximum HP), down to zero.

Enemy drops count toward Delivery. Money returned as surplus from an extraction does not score again, including when carried in a valuable storage box. Damage to valuables reduces their eligible value.

With two or more starting teams, unfinished teams stop 25 minutes after the fastest clear, keeping Delivery, Safety, Box and Hunt points with Time set to zero. A multiplayer race with one competitive team uses the solo time formula and can continue after Time reaches zero. Spectators do not count as teams. The starting team count fixes the rule, even if other teams later leave or are eliminated.

For example, delivering 1.5 times the starting valuable value earns 6,000 Delivery points. With one extraction point, the solo reference is 600 seconds at level 1, 1,140 at level 10 and 1,740 at level 20. Each additional point adds 180 seconds: level 10 with three points has a 1,500-second reference. Using half the reference time earns 1,500 Time points.

In multiplayer, damage is summed across teammates and Safety uses the sum of their starting maximum HP. Delivery, time, boxes and hunts are shared rather than multiplied by team size.

Damage is cumulative: healing does not erase it. HP spent repairing a cosmetic box also counts as damage. Final totals are rounded once. Ties are decided by shorter time, higher eligible delivered value, then lower damage.

Box and hunt bonuses

Cosmetic boxes: deliver a box to earn its rarity bonus multiplied by remaining HP ÷ maximum HP. Repairing it improves the bonus. A box scores only once; an undelivered or destroyed box scores nothing.

Rarity Full HP Half HP
Common 50 25
Uncommon 100 50
Rare 200 100
Ultra Rare 400 200

Hunts: clear an entire enemy group to earn the following bonus. A single enemy is a group of one.

Group Tier Per complete defeat Maximum for one group
Tier 1 25 75
Tier 2 50 150
Tier 3 100 300

Each individual counts at most three deaths. For Bangers, Gnomes and other groups, everyone must be defeated once for the first reward, twice for the second and three times for the third. Repeatedly defeating only part of the group does not award another clear. Separate groups of the same enemy type count separately. An enemy leaving the area does not count as defeated.

Box and hunt rewards apply in all modes; teams can also earn the starting-size bonus. The first clear, a damage-free run and full collection receive no separate bonus. Their benefits are reflected in Time, Safety and Delivery.

Individual death or team elimination makes the entire score zero. A teammate who dies can return while their team remains active and has a revival available. A time-limit finish keeps earned bonuses.

Results and next race

Results display Stage name / Lv.X alongside the page number, plus total points, time and the DELIVERY / TIME / SAFETY / BOX / HUNT breakdown. Up to 144 competitors are grouped into at most 24 team results, across five pages with five teams per page. A team appears once, with the additional TEAM size-bonus category. Spectators are not ranked. Use PREV / NEXT, the mouse wheel, Left/Right or PageUp/PageDown to change pages. Your overall position remains visible.

Player Buttons When they act
Multiplayer host REMATCH / BACK TO LOBBY / MAIN MENU Waits until everyone finishes and 15 seconds have passed after the last result screen appears. You can change the selection while waiting.
Multiplayer guest MAIN MENU Leaves immediately. Stay on the results screen to follow the host into the next race or lobby.
Solo REMATCH / MAIN MENU Acts immediately.

The host stays on the screen until choosing an action. Once the 15-second wait is over, a new selection acts immediately. Leaving after finishing does not stop someone else's race. If the host chooses MAIN MENU, remaining players return too.

Configuration

Open ScoreRace in REPOConfig. All settings below affect gameplay and are controlled by the host; solo uses your own settings. Team and spectator assignments are chosen in the lobby. true means enabled and false means disabled. Base score values and hunt limits are fixed; the team-size bonus can be changed.

For stage and item choices, copy a name from BepInEx/ScoreRace/catalog.txt, created when you launch the game. Separate multiple choices with |. Use comma-separated numbers for upgrade and item counts.

Team settings

These settings appear in 08 Teams in REPOConfig. All multiplayer competitors belong to teams; one-player teams compete individually. These settings apply only to multiplayer; solo scoring is unchanged.

Setting Default Range Effect
RandomTeams true true / false Redraw Random-slot assignments for every race. False keeps them stable within the lobby. Explicit team choices are always kept.
TeamCount 0 0-24 Number of teams used for random placement. Zero provides up to 24 team slots and balances additional competitors. Explicit choices may add slots; put multiple players in the same team to cooperate.
SharedRevives 3 0-99 Shared revival count per team.
UnderdogPerMember 250 0-2,000 Points per missing starting member compared with the largest team. Zero disables the bonus.

Only occupied teams compete. Choose enough teams to fit all competitors; spectators do not occupy team slots.

Stage and loadout settings

Section / key Default Range / choices Effect
01 Level / RandomLevel true true / false Draw the level from the selected range.
01 Level / Minimum 1 1–20 Lowest random level; must not exceed Maximum.
01 Level / Maximum 20 1–20 Highest random level.
01 Level / FixedLevel 1 1–20 Used when RandomLevel is false.
02 Stage / RandomStage true true / false Draw a stage from StagePool.
02 Stage / StagePool Empty Names Available stage choices; empty means all stages.
02 Stage / FixedStage Empty One name Required when RandomStage is false.
03 Seed / RandomSeed true true / false Choose a new seed for every race.
03 Seed / FixedSeed 1 1–2,147,483,647 Used when RandomSeed is false.
04 Loadout / UpgradeVariation 0 0–3 Vary each upgrade count by up to this amount above or below its base. Counts cannot fall below zero.
04 Loadout / RandomItems true true / false Draw from each pool. False takes weapons in list order; other items use the first choice.

Item pools and quantities

The defaults include all eligible base-game items in these five categories, except the small cart. Cart weapons use Ranged; explosives use Control. Guns and cart weapons start with Set C. Trackers, vehicles, revival items, upgrades and other utility items outside these categories are not included.

05 Item pools / key Default choices Items
Carts Item Cart Medium Medium cart only; small cart excluded
Healing Item Health Pack Medium / Item Health Pack Large / Item Health Pack Small Small, medium and large health packs (3)
Melee Item Melee Baseball Bat / Item Melee Frying Pan / Item Melee Inflatable Hammer / Item Melee Sledge Hammer / Item Melee Stun Baton / Item Melee Sword All melee weapons (6)
Control Item Grenade Stun / Item Mine Stun / Item Grenade Duct Taped / Item Grenade Explosive / Item Grenade Human / Item Grenade Shockwave / Item Mine Explosive / Item Mine Shockwave / Item Orb Zero Gravity / Item Staff Torque / Item Staff Void / Item Staff Zero Gravity / Item Leaf Blower / Item Rubber Duck Grenades, mines, orb, staffs, leaf blower and rubber duck (14)
Ranged Item Gun Shotgun / Item Gun Handgun / Item Gun Laser / Item Gun Shockwave / Item Gun Stun / Item Gun Tranq / Item Cart Cannon / Item Cart Laser All guns and cart weapons (8)

Choose one or more names from the item list. In the table, “ / ” separates alternatives; enter them using | in the setting. Melee and ranged weapons, including cart weapons, never repeat within one player's supplies, even if the same weapon appears in multiple pools. If there are fewer distinct weapons than requested, only the available weapons are supplied; your quantity settings are kept. With RandomItems disabled, weapons follow the list order without repeats. Ordinary carts, healing and control items may repeat. Drones and charging crystals cannot be added to these pools.

Previously unchanged default pools expand on first launch after updating. Custom choices and their order are preserved; use REPOConfig to reset a customized pool if you want every default candidate.

07 Item counts / key Default: Carts, Healing, Melee, Control, Ranged
SetA 1,1,1,1,0
SetB 1,2,1,0,0
SetC 1,2,1,1,1
SetD 2,3,2,2,1
SetE 2,3,2,2,2
SetF 2,4,2,3,2

Each quantity can be 0–10, with a combined maximum of 24 configured items per set. The three fixed drones are additional, for at most 27 supplies. Every competitor receives the same set; spectators do not receive supplies. Weapon quantities are reduced only when distinct candidates run out.

Default upgrades

In 06 Upgrades, Level01 through Level20 each contain ten counts, every value from 0–50. Enter them in this order: Health, Stamina, Sprint Speed, Strength, Range, Crouch Rest, Extra Jump, Tumble Launch, Tumble Wings, Tumble Climb.

These are the total starting upgrades for that race, not additions to the previous level. The default variation is zero.

Notifications and HUD

The game display uses English. The countdown and GO! appear at the center. ScoreRace displays are hidden on loading screens, and the lobby has no central race overlay.

During a race, the HUD shows level, elapsed time, damage, HUNTS T1 / T2 / T3, BOX BONUS and HUNT BONUS. In multiplayer it also shows your team number and remaining shared revivals. Hunt counts are rewarded whole-group defeats, capped by the three-defeat limit. Delivered money and cosmetic box counts are not displayed.

After the first multiplayer clear, the HUD also shows remaining Time points and the time until the race ends. Results show each score category. ScoreRace's name and version appear on the title and results; results also display the game's version.

Compatibility

Player-count, cosmetic, translation and other mods can be used when everyone has the same mod setup and settings. Matching setups do not guarantee that every mod combination works together.

If a race does not start, first check that everyone has ScoreRace, the same other mods and matching settings. ScoreRace gameplay settings come from the host; you do not need to make those identical.

ScoreRace protects normal game saves. Its race scores and personal bests are kept separately.

Gameplay notes

  • Individual death and team elimination score zero. A single teammate dying does not erase the shared score.
  • The race clock continues while menus are open.
  • Solo and one-team races can continue after Time reaches zero. Races starting with two or more teams stop 25 minutes after the fastest clear.
  • Box repairs improve the box bonus but consume HP and can reduce Safety points.
  • Personal bests are separated by solo, individual multiplayer, team composition and race conditions. Different settings or stages are different challenges.
  • Results stay provisional while other players are still running or their results have not arrived. Communication problems can delay scores, the time limit and the host's next action.
  • If the host has left, guests can finish, save their own result and select MAIN MENU.

手動導入の場合は、プロファイルのBepInEx/pluginsフォルダーへScoreRace.dllを配置します。

A 1–3 1 1 1 1 0
B 4–6 1 2 1 0 0
C 7–9 1 2 1 1 1
D 10–12 2 3 2 2 1
E 13–16 2 3 2 2 2
F 17–20 2 4 2 3 2

全セットに**Feather(軽量化)・Indestructible(破損防止)・Zero Gravity(無重力)**ドローンを各1個追加します。

Common 50
Uncommon 100
Rare 200
Ultra Rare 400

結果画面にはページ番号と同じ行にステージ名 / Lv.Xを表示し、総合点・時間と、DELIVERY/TIME/SAFETY/BOX/HUNTの内訳を表示します。 PREV/NEXT、ホイール、左右キー、PageUp/PageDownでページを切り替えます。

REMATCH/BACK TO LOBBY/MAIN MENU
ソロ REMATCH/MAIN MENU すぐに実行します。

ステージやアイテムの候補名は、ゲーム起動後に作成されるBepInEx/ScoreRace/catalog.txtの一覧からコピーしてください。
