Slappy Curb Killer Trucks

Built for slappies. This pack adds Slappy's Curb Killer II trucks to the truck menu in all three finishes Slappy makes them in, with the real CURB KILLER hockey-mask print on the hanger.

Required: Slappy Wide Mode. These are 11" trucks, and Wide Mode is what makes them 11" wide with the wheels on the ends of the axle. Without it they show up at stock width. Mod managers install it for you; installing by hand, grab it too and keep both enabled.

Little details

• The print is Slappy's own. CURB on one side, KILLER on the other, the mask and knife sitting up on the neck, lifted straight from Slappy's product shots.
• It reads the right way round when you ride. Like the real truck, the print is upright with the board on its wheels, on the outside face of both trucks, so you see it from the chase camera.
• Slappy white bushings, bare steel axles and hardware, and finishes that act like the real thing: the polished one is shiny metal, the matte black is flat.
• Every truck has its own icon in the menu, on a bright orange background so the pack is easy to spot.
• Each one is its own item, so nothing replaces the stock trucks.

Why Wide Mode is a separate mod

Slappy Wide Mode gives the full 11" setup: wider hangers, 11" axles and the wheels moved out to the ends, like the icons show. skate. uses one wheel model for every board, so the width can't live inside a truck item. It goes in its own mod, and it widens every truck while it's on.

The trucks use skate.'s own truck shape, so the hanger and baseplate are the game's, not Slappy's exact casting. The colours, print and bushings are what make them Curb Killers.

Install

Mod manager (easiest): hit install, launch ReSkate, done.

By hand:

1. Unzip so the files sit straight inside a folder in your ReSkate Mods folder, for example Mods/Slappy_Curb_Killer_Trucks/layout.toc. Don't leave them one folder deeper or the game won't see them.
2. Do the same for Slappy Wide Mode.
3. Make sure both are enabled on the launcher's MODS page.
4. In game, go to the board customizer, open Trucks, and scroll to the ones starting with Slappy -.

Built for the current pinned ReSkate build. If ReSkate updates and these vanish from the menu, the pack probably needs a rebuild, so give me a shout.
