ThreeChoiceChests
Changes chests to offer three reward choices.# Changelog
## 1.3.3
- Updated the README and CHANGELOG. No gameplay changes.
## 1.3.2
- Published the existing generic Choice Extension API v1 for independent companion mods.
- Exposed stable reward identities, candidate data snapshots, and queue, binding, success, and cancellation notifications.
- Allowed optional tooltip text for each candidate without replacing the native selection workflow.
- Preserved existing reward ownership, native reward granting, the shared queue, Sale Star behavior, scoreboard/pause recovery, and short descriptions.
- Updated the version metadata for the locally tested API build. This packaging revision introduces no new gameplay changes.
## 1.3.1
- Corrected the native tooltip availability configuration on ThreeChoice candidate buttons.
- Bound localized candidate names and existing short effect descriptions before the initial hover event.
- Restored the working tooltip provider configuration before applying optional native inventory colors.
- Isolated native title-color lookup. If the lookup fails or returns an invisible or invalid color, a log entry is recorded and the working color is used as a fallback.
- Preserved the shared native tooltip appearance and native item/equipment title-color sources without introducing a custom palette.
- Preserved the built-in Simplified Chinese descriptions and localization fallback for other languages and modded items.
- Added tooltip cleanup and restoration when hiding, reopening, or switching between choice panels.
- Preserved the existing multiplayer queue, Sale Star reward capture, picker distance handling, and reward behavior.
## 1.3.0
- Added complete native reward-batch capture for supported chests, including Sale Star bonus rewards.
- Each actual reward now enters the ThreeChoice selection workflow independently instead of bypassing the picker and dropping directly.
- Each reward preserves its original vanilla-rolled item, tier, and category information.
- Legendary chests use the same complete reward-batch capture mechanism, including each natively rolled red-item reward.
- Added the activator of the native purchase interaction as a fallback reward owner when ownership determination is delayed.
- Removed distance-based dismissal for ThreeChoiceChests-owned pickers, preventing the choice interface from repeatedly closing when high-mobility players move away after opening a chest.
- Preserved the existing global serial multiplayer queue, reward ownership validation, direct granting, scoreboard recovery, and pause/protection behavior.
- Preserved all 217 Simplified Chinese short descriptions and rich-text colors.
## 1.2.2
- Removed the accidentally bundled AD/AP-related system from ThreeChoiceChests.
- ThreeChoiceChests now only handles three-choice rewards, candidate descriptions, queue management, picker recovery, pause/protection, and normal UI behavior.
## 1.2.1
- Corrected the public package description following the 1.2.0 upload.
- No intended gameplay changes.
## 1.2.0
- Added dedicated, hand-authored Simplified Chinese short descriptions for ThreeChoice candidates.
- Added reviewed rich-text colors and on-hit/on-kill effect labels where applicable.
- Candidate names continue to use the game's active language localization.
- Preserved the existing queue, scoreboard recovery, pause/protection, and picker behavior.
- Non-Chinese languages continue to use the original item descriptions.
## 1.0.2
- Reworked scoreboard handling during an active three-choice reward.
- The scoreboard/inventory can be opened normally while choosing a reward.
- Opening the scoreboard temporarily hides the choice interface without canceling or consuming the pending reward.
- Closing the scoreboard restores the exact same picker and candidates without rerolling.
- Prevented the hidden choice interface from receiving input while the scoreboard is open.
- Fixed the Command Artifact information panel appearing in the scoreboard when ThreeChoiceChests uses its internal picker.
- Preserved normal Command Artifact behavior.
- Retained the existing pause-menu recovery and reward queue behavior.
## 1.0.1
- Fixed pending chest rewards being consumed when the scoreboard closes the choice interface.
- Closing the UI no longer completes the choice or advances the reward queue.
- Preserved the original picker and candidates, restoring interrupted choice prompts after the pause menu closes without rerolling.
- Finalized a reward only after the game accepts a valid candidate selection.
## 1.0.0
- Initial release.
- Added three-choice rewards for supported standard, category, and legendary chests.
- Added three-choice rewards for Equipment Barrels.
- Preserved original item tier and category restrictions.
- Added a reward queue for rapidly opened supported chests.
- Left Lunar Pods, Void Cradles, Free Chests, Command Chests, and Adaptive Chests unchanged.
