Did you know that the Newt was originally supposed to have dialogue, and that the lines were left over in the game files? This mod restores the lines to let you see them in game! Just be aware, they are a bit... bizarre. (no pun intended)
By default, this uses the NEWT_LUNAR_PURCHASE lines when you buy a lunar item, and the NEWT_ANNOY lines when getting kicked out of the shop. The NEWT_UPGRADE lines are not shown by default, since they're leftovers from functionality that no longer exists (and there are only 3 of them and they're kinda samey), but there are config options that let you see them on rerolling or using cauldrons.
Only the host needs the mod, since this doesn't add any new dialog lines, it's just using the ones already in the game. It also works with any language, since the lines have been translated despite being unused!
