Fishy Cards

Something smells fishy in the draft. A pack of sneaky cards made with CardKit. Everyone in the lobby needs CardKit and this mod at the same version.

Cards

Fake Checkpoint

Looks exactly like the stock Checkpoint card in the draft and on the track, for everyone. Only the player who picks it is told it's a fake (a banner after the pick, a tag over the gate while placing it). It doesn't count as a checkpoint, it switches off like a real one once you drive through it, and it sends you back to spawn.

Trap Thief

A tool card, used like the stock Delete card: place it on a trap another player put down. The closest trap that can kill inside its circle becomes yours until the end of the game: it takes your colours (everyone sees the theft) and every player it kills scores for you. Only one trap is taken. Traps that can't kill (bonus gates, speed cameras, props, Fake Checkpoints) and your own traps are never taken. Careful: if your stolen trap kills you, it counts as killing yourself.

Coconut

A Mario Kart red shell, as an angry coconut. Play the card and you hold a coconut for this round's race: the bottom of your screen tells you which key throws it – Throw coconut, Q on the keyboard (A on AZERTY), d-pad up on a gamepad by default; change it in the game's controls settings like any other key. It chases the closest car in front of you at a car's top speed, but turns badly: dodge it at the last moment (a dash or a jump to the side) and it carries on straight. Its target is warned on screen. If it hits, that car is destroyed and the kill scores for you (if it comes back on you, it's a self-kill). One coconut, one throw, that race only.

Config

BepInEx/config/slipskid.fishycards.cfg → ForceInDraft (default false): for testing, set it to true and the host always gets Fake Checkpoint in the first draft slot.
