BayTurtle's More FPS

This mod attempts to increase the overall FPS and performance in large battles.

How much of an improvement

For the FPS improvement to be noticable, you likely need very big battles (150+ units). However, when you have a large battle in action, the FPS improvement is definitely noticable. In some cases, I got 15+ FPS with every optimization on (which is the default setting) compared to the same exact battle with the mod disabled, which makes the game a lot smoother. However, everything obviously depends on your computer and other mods installed.

The config automatically has all 4 optimizations enabled, but you can disable any in the config file.

Sacrifices to be made

When using this mod with all optimizations enabled, the unit AI may perform worse, as that's the least optimized part of the game and what the mod mostly focuses on optimizing. I, however, did not notice much of a difference myself, but, once again, it all depends on your setup and how much you pay attention to the AI.
