Skal
Tavern artifacts: map bottles to mead effects with cooldowns, plus a drunkenness system - camera sway, wobbly walk, and puking when you overdo it.Skal
Skal turns decorative drink bottles into tavern artifacts, and gives Valheim a proper drunkenness system.
Features
Bottle effects
Map any drinkable bottle (from mods like Happy Hour) to a mead effect:
- Drink the bottle → the mapped mead's status effect applies (icon + timer, top right).
- Nothing is consumed from your inventory, the bottle IS the potion.
- Balanced by a per-bottle cooldown.
- Map a bottle to
randomfor tavern roulette.
Drunkenness
Every sip adds drunkenness points. It wears off over time, unless you keep going:
| Level | Effect |
|---|---|
| 30+ | The camera starts to sway |
| 60+ | Your walk drifts sideways |
| 90 | You puke (vanilla Pukeberries effect: eaten food is lost) and sober up to 40 |
All thresholds, points per drink, sober-up rate and sway strength are configurable.
Configuration (r2modman Config Editor)
Each known bottle has its own entry:
