DraugrIronOre
Adds a configurable 33% chance for Draugr to drop 1-3 bonus Iron Ore.Draugr Iron Ore
Standalone BepInEx plugin source for Valheim. Adds a bonus Iron Ore drop to eligible Draugr without replacing their normal loot.
Default behavior
- 33% chance per eligible Draugr death
- 1–3 Iron Ore on a successful roll
- Includes Draugr, Draugr Elite, and Draugr Ranged by default
- Configurable through BepInEx config
- No DropNSpawn or Jötunn dependency
Requirements to build
- Valheim installed through Steam
- BepInExPack Valheim installed and run once
- .NET SDK installed (
dotnet --infoshould work) - PowerShell on Windows
Build
- Extract this source ZIP.
- Open PowerShell in the extracted
DraugrIronOrefolder. - Run
.?uild.ps1. - If Valheim is installed in a different folder, run:
.?uild.ps1 -ValheimDir "D:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Valheim"
The script builds against the local Valheim managed assemblies and BepInEx libraries. On success, the DLL is copied to Thunderstore\BepInEx\plugins\DraugrIronOre.dll.
Local installation
Copy Thunderstore\BepInEx\plugins\DraugrIronOre.dll to the BepInEx\plugins folder of your Valheim install or your Thunderstore Mod Manager/r2modman profile. With a mod manager, use Settings / Profile folder / Browse profile folder, then open BepInEx\plugins.
Launch the game once. The configuration file will be generated at:
BepInEx\config\com.example.draugrironore.cfg
Configuration
DropChance = 0.33(33%)MinAmount = 1MaxAmount = 3IncludeEliteDraugr = trueIncludeRangedDraugr = true
Make a Thunderstore upload ZIP
- Build successfully with
.?uild.ps1. - Run
.\package.ps1 -Version "1.0.0". - Upload the generated
DraugrIronOre-1.0.0-Thunderstore.zipfrom the project folder to your Thunderstore team's upload page.
The upload ZIP includes the compiled DLL at BepInEx/plugins/DraugrIronOre.dll plus the required root-level manifest.json, README.md, and icon.png.
Important testing note
This source archive does not include a compiled DLL because compiling requires the Valheim and BepInEx assemblies from your own installation. I have not run this plugin inside Valheim. Test in a disposable world/profile first and check BepInEx/LogOutput.log for errors. The plugin adds a separate bonus item and does not intentionally alter vanilla loot tables. Modded Draugr variants are not included unless their prefab names match one of the three supported names.
