Mushoku Tensei Core - Magic, Swordplay, Toki and Magic Eyes (Playable, optimized and balanced)

Magic, swordplay, Toki and the Mk-I Magic Armor for Valheim, inspired by the isekai novel Mushoku Tensei.

You start at zero. No classes. Train your body, your mana and your blade: what you do is what you become. Balanced, deep and rewarding.

What is included

MT Core: Toki aura (levels 1–10 + active Mantle), mana reserve that expands with use, meditation, body training that converts during sleep, birth talents (Normal, Great Reserve, Laplace Factor), and the Adventurer's Journal.
MT Magic: 9 schools (Fire, Water, Wind, Earth, Gravity, Healing, Detox, Barrier, Summoning), 69 spells, consumable scrolls (Healing & Detox), the Mk-I Magic Armor (suit, shield, cannon), grimoire menu (F3), spell channeling and permanent world creations.
MT Sword: Three styles (Sword God, Water God, North God), active sword techniques (Air Slash, North Whirlwind, Supersonic Blade, River Cut, Crescent Moon, Longsword of Light) with custom aerial slash VFX, parries, counters and secret arts.
MT Step: Toki Step (Z) — near-instant dash with afterimages.
MT Eyes: Three Magic Eyes (wear up to two): Foresight (ghost silhouette of incoming attacks), Far Sight (zoom and rangefinder) and Identification (HUD display of enemy HP, weaknesses and resistances).

Highlights in 2.4.4

Performance update: no more FPS drops when picking up items, no freeze when igniting the Toki Mantle (F1), far fewer micro-stutters, reused spell effects (same look) and a limit of 6 spell lights at once. New mt_perf on-screen meter.
Supersonic Sword reworked: a very long air cut that follows your aim (also upward, great against flyers) and curls up at the end, hitting everything along its path. During its stance, every attack releases it.
Aimed Thrust: during the Thrust stance, every thrust launches you where you aim, even upward, with no fall damage.
North Whirl: full-sphere damage around you (also below), only against mobs.

Highlights in 2.1.0

Levitation Air Vortices: Procedural spiral wind vortices appear beneath each boot when levitating. Holding Shift to fly fast dramatically accelerates their spin rate and draws them backward into dynamic wind slipstreams.
Natural Flight & Slow-Fall Stance: Floating, WASD air movement, and descending (Ctrl) now seamlessly adopt Valheim's gentle feather-fall glide posture with no ground walking or standing freezes.
Biome-Adaptive Clear Skies: "Clear Skies" in snowy Mountains now applies "Twilight_Clear", banishing blizzards while preserving gentle cold lighting that prevents blinding snow glare.
Sword Combat Stances: Active sword techniques grant combat stances with unique offensive and defensive buffs, plus visible slicing air cuts on standard melee attacks.

Skill Wheel (Q / Alt+Q): Quick radial selection. Casts sword techniques when holding a melee weapon; equips spells when holding a staff or wand.
Adventurer's Journal (F4): Fully animated parchment book with realistic page turning, dynamic candle lighting and customized ribbons.
- My Life: Chronicle log with dynamic event phrases and real taped notes.
- My Path: Choose your gameplay pace (x1 Balanced up to x5 Dragon God).
- Studies: Track spells known per school with discovery hints.
- Guild: Rank up from F to S through combat milestones.

Body & Toki Rework: Training effort builds during the day and turns into real stamina, fortitude and weight capacity upon resting in a bed. Eating properly is required to maximize growth.
Laplace Factor Rework: No longer locks out Toki! Toki awakens and grows at half rate, enabling hybrid battle-mage builds.
Zero-Stutter Performance: Heavily optimized asset footprint and string caching.

Q (or Alt+Q): Skill Radial Wheel (techniques with weapon / spells with staff)
F1: Toki Mantle (hold to turn off)
H: Meditate (sit and rest with X to accelerate recovery)
Z: Toki Step (dash)
Mouse Left-Click (with staff/wand): Cast spell (tap: quick cast / hold: charge / release: fire)
Page Up / Alt+Wheel: Next spell
Page Down: Previous spell / hide
F4: Adventurer's Journal
F3: Grimoire spellbook
Alt+1 through Alt+9: Quickcast / select favorite spell or technique
J / K: Levitate / Land
Y: Far Sight zoom (when wearing the Eye of Far Sight)

Installation

Install BepInExPack for Valheim and Jotunn.
Install via r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager, or manually extract the contents of plugins/ into your Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/ folder.
In multiplayer, all players must run the same mod version.
