BuildFreedom
No build integrity, no rain damage to structures, and triple-radius workbench and stonecutter. Each feature toggles independently.BuildFreedom
Three build-system tweaks in one lightweight plugin. Every feature has its own toggle, so you can run one, two, or all three.
No Jotunn dependency. No custom assets. Just three Harmony patches.
Features
No build integrity
Structures never collapse, no matter how far they overhang. Build the floating hall, the cantilevered bridge, the tower with no visible means of support — nothing falls down.
The hammer's support overlay stays blue rather than showing red pieces that never actually break, so you're not staring at a wall of warning colours while you build.
No rain damage
Uncovered structures stop taking weather wear. Your unfinished walls won't rot while you go off to fight a boss, and exposed builds in the Swamp or Plains stay intact.
This does not change your character's shelter or Rested buff — you still need a real roof over your head to sleep comfortably. Only the structural wear is affected.
Triple station radius
Workbench and stonecutter build ranges are tripled by default, so you can cover a whole homestead from one bench instead of scattering them every few tiles.
The radius circle on the ground is resized to match, so what you see is where you can actually build. Multipliers are configurable, and other stations (forge, artisan table, galdr table, black forge) are left at vanilla range unless you change that too.
Configuration
Config file: BepInEx/config/com.demonforge.buildfreedom.cfg
Generated on first launch. Works with BepInEx Configuration Manager — station range changes apply live to every station already loaded, no relog needed.

Multiplayer — install on every client
All players need this installed. Structural support is simulated by whichever client currently owns the area, not by the server. If someone without the mod loads your base first, unsupported structures can collapse on their machine — and that destruction syncs to everyone.
The server copy is optional for these features, but installing it there too costs nothing.
There is no config enforcement, so on a public server players can set their own multipliers. For a private group that's fine; for anything larger, be aware of it.
Notes
Existing collapsed pieces stay gone — the mod prevents collapse, it doesn't rebuild.
Disabling a feature mid-save restores vanilla behaviour immediately. Structures built while the mod was active will collapse on the next support recalculation if they were never legitimately supported, so turn things off with that in mind.
If a Valheim update breaks a patch, only that feature fails. The other two keep working,
and the error in BepInEx/LogOutput.log names which one went down.
