PortalTracking
See all portals on the map - wood and stone! Names show as labels. Single player or multiplayer. Enjoy!PortalTracking
Forgot where you dropped a portal? See every portal on the map - wood and stone - from anywhere on the server.
If a portal has a tag, that name shows next to the icon on the world map.
Install (multiplayer / dedicated)
- Open r2modman / Thunderstore Mod Manager → Valheim.
- Install BepInExPack_Valheim if you do not already have it.
- Online → search
DevDonkey-PortalTracking→ Install on your client profile. - Install the same package on your dedicated server profile (or copy
PortalTracking.dllinto the serverBepInEx/plugins/folder). - Restart the server, then launch the game through the mod manager.
If client and server builds get out of sync, you will see an in-game warning asking you (or the host) to update.
Install (singleplayer)
Same package via r2modman is enough - the local host acts as the server.
Manual: put PortalTracking.dll in BepInEx/plugins/ (needs BepInExPack_Valheim).
How to use
- Place portals as usual (wood or stone).
- They appear on the minimap and full world map for everyone with the mod.
- Set a portal tag with E (vanilla) - that name shows under the pin on the large map.
- Nearby portals merge into a single Hub pin at their center.
