⛵ New Ship

A new ship has been added to the world of Valheim — the Galleon.
A powerful and majestic vessel, created for true conquerors of the seas.

The Galleon is a multi-deck vessel — a self-contained floating fortress. It features functional interior spaces and a wide range of integrated interaction points throughout the ship. With each installed upgrade, additional systems and features become available, steadily transforming the Galleon into a true flagship of the seas.

🌊 Shipwrecks and Exploration

Drifting shipwrecks can now be found across the open seas, adding new depth to naval exploration and progression.
They vary in rarity and reward, offering valuable resources and a chance to discover Draughts used to craft upgrades for the Galleon.

By exploring these drifting wrecks and revealing their secrets, you gain access to powerful ship upgrades that can be crafted and installed directly on the Galleon, further strengthening your vessel for the journeys ahead.

⚙️ Ship Upgrade System

The Galleon can be upgraded through a dedicated Upgrade Table installed on board.

A total of 13 unique upgrades become available as you progress and explore the world.

Each upgrade is crafted using special Draughts discovered during your journeys.
Once installed, the upgrades expand the ship’s potential, unlocking new systems and significantly improving its overall performance.

🦜 Feathered Companion

Near the Upgrade Table on board, you will find a feathered assistant.

This parrot companion provides helpful information, guides you through key ship systems, and accompanies you throughout important interactions and upgrade decisions.

⚒️ Naval Workshop

All ship upgrades, related materials, and ammunition are crafted at the Naval Workshop.

This specialized crafting station serves as the hub for naval engineering and ship construction.

To build the Galleon, the Naval Workshop must be placed nearby.

👕 New Armor Sets

Two new thematic armor sets have been added alongside the Galleon, each designed to complement a different role at sea.

Sailor Set

Built for practical deck work and long voyages, the Sailor set focuses on utility and reliability. Designed for life on the water, it supports those who keep the ship running through wind, rain, and shifting tides.

Captain Set

Crafted for those who stand at the helm, the Captain set blends authority with combat readiness. It is suited for leaders who guide their crew, face danger head-on, and command the ship through both battle and storm.

Historical Heritage

The Historical Heritage mod brings together a diverse collection of historically inspired gear from different eras and regions. Each set reflects unique cultural traditions and craftsmanship. Every piece of armor and weapon is carefully balanced and fully integrated into Valheim's progression, offering new ways to gear up for every adventure.

🔨 Crafting Station

A dedicated crafting station, the Forge of Ages, and its extensions, are used to craft all new historical equipment.

🧱 Materials

• Smithing Chronicles of the Far Roads – required for crafting the first extension, the Drafting Table, and is now available for purchase from Haldor after defeating Eikthyr.

• Treated Wood – infused with resin or tar, offering better resistance to moisture and decay. Used as a primary material in weapon crafting.

• Fittings – a set of forged rings, plates, belt mounts, and rivets, used as components for crafting both armor and weapons.

🧩 Expansions

Alongside the main Battle Armor line, you’ll find a growing collection of Expansions — unique equipment sets representing the craftsmanship of peaceful professions.
These sets will help you in various aspects of the game.

Current Expansions:

• Miner Expansion — highly effective for ore extraction and transportation
• Plague Doctor Expansion — specialized gear suited for handling illness and poisonous substances
• Sailor Expansion — practical maritime attire designed for life at sea and steady work on deck
• Captain Expansion — refined naval attire for seasoned seafarers who stand at the helm and lead the voyage across open waters

⛏️ Dual Pickaxes

A new weapon type has been added — Dual Pickaxes.

• Primary Attack: ideal for fast horizontal digging. Can also help in an emergency encounter with an enemy.
• Secondary Attack: functions similarly to the vanilla pickaxe, making it well-suited for vertical digging.

🪑 Decor Elements

The mod also provides a set of decorative pieces that let you personalize your base with furnishings representing cultures from across the world.
