Survival View

Part of the Scavengers Survival Series for Valheim.

Survival View gives Valheim a more grounded, body-aware first-person perspective. It is built for players who want exploration, climbing, sailing, combat, and survival to feel closer and more physical.

What it adds

A first-person camera positioned at a natural head height.
A visible player body when looking down.
A smooth transition between close third-person and first-person view.
Movement tuning designed to feel less floaty in first person.
A practical view for solo survival, exploration, and immersive gameplay.

Controls

Use the camera zoom control to move into or back out of Survival View.
Check the generated config for camera and movement tuning options.

Installation

Install through Thunderstore/r2modman, or install BepInExPack for Valheim manually.
Place SurvivalView.dll in BepInEx/plugins/SurvivalView/.
Launch Valheim once to create the config file.

Notes

This mod is designed to work well alongside the other Scavengers survival mods, especially You're Cold, You're Injured, and You're Tired.
