GroupBoard
A shared to-do list on a big board. Everyone sees the open tasks on its face and can add, tick off, edit and reorder them. Todo signs work too.GroupBoard
A shared to-do list for your base, on a big board everyone can read from across the room.
Features
- Group board. A new building piece (Hammer, Misc tab, needs a Workbench) that shows the open tasks right on its face, in writing that grows to fill the board. It comes in small, medium or large.
- Everyone sees the same list, live. Add, tick off, edit, reorder and delete tasks from a window.
- Who did what. Each task shows who added it and who finished it.
- Any sign works too. A normal sign whose text starts with Todo is a board as well, with its tasks in the hover text. The host can turn this off.
How to use
- Build a Group board and look at it: its face lists the open tasks. A short list is written big; a long list gets smaller writing, and if it still doesn't fit, the board says how many more.
- Press
Eto open the full list:- Type a task and press
Enter(or click Add). - Tick a task when it's done.
- Edit changes a task; ▲ and ▼ move it up and down.
- ✕ deletes a task; Clear done removes all finished tasks.
- Board size switches between small, medium and large.
- Text size sets how small the writing gets when the list is long (70 to 200%). A short list still grows to fill the board. Once someone sets it, everyone sees that size on this board; until then each player sees their own Board text size setting.
- Type a task and press
Shift+E(orQwith Zen mods) gives the board a name, shown at the top of its face. This needs access to the ward, if there is one.
Esc or Close shuts the window, and it also closes when you walk away.
On a normal sign, write Todo, or a title like Todo: Farm. Its hover text shows the first open tasks, and E opens the same window. Shift + E edits the sign's text as usual. If the host turns Todo signs off, signs are just signs and only the Group board is a board.

Multiplayer
Everyone needs the mod. The Group board is a new building piece, so Jotunn stops a player from joining without it. The list is stored on the board itself, so it's saved with the world and synced like a sign's text. Each change is applied to the newest version of the list, so two players editing at once rarely wipe each other's tasks.
Editing follows the ward: if the ward doesn't let you in, you can read the board but not change it.
The host's 1 - Host settings apply to everyone who joins. A changed Group board recipe applies right away, no restart needed.
Compatibility
Requires Jotunn.
Removing the mod
Group boards stop loading (the game logs them as missing). Todo signs are just signs again.
