My Build Camera

An advanced, feature-rich build camera mod for Valheim that allows you to detach your camera from your character to fly around freely while building. Perfect for inspecting, planning, and placing complicated structures from any angle without distance constraints!

Features

• Free Fly Mode: Seamlessly disconnect your camera and fly anywhere within your grid to inspect your base from any angle.
• Infinite Placement Reach: Completely removes the "invalid placement" restriction. You can comfortably build structures up to 100 meters away directly from your camera position.
• Remote Network Vacuum: Automatically sweeps up resources, logs, stones, and dropped loot within your custom camera radius (e.g., 10m) and drops them straight into your character's inventory over the network.
• Camera Flashlight: Automatically attaches a building spotlight to your flying camera when building at night, featuring customizable intensity and range.
• Environmental Demister: Seamlessly syncs your Wisplight (Demister) status effect directly to your camera position, clearing out thick Mistlands or Ashlands fog where you are looking.
• Smart UI Isolation: Camera rotation and placement inputs automatically freeze the moment you open the hammer build wheel, inventory screens, the escape menu, local text chat, or the developer console.
• Anti-Drift Controls: Uses a hardware-verified keystroke input system that entirely eliminates phantom camera drifting caused by controllers or mouse-axis deadzones.
• Character Safety: Freezes your character securely on the ground while flying, preventing accidental falling, drowning, or running off cliffs when pressing WASD.
• Tool Support: Fully compatible with both the Hammer and the Hoe for easy terraforming on the fly.

Controls

1. Equip your Hammer or Hoe.
2. Press B (Default toggle key) to enter/exit build mode.
3. Use WASD to fly around horizontally.
4. Press Spacebar to fly upwards.
5. Press Left-Ctrl to fly downwards.
6. Hold Left-Shift to fly faster (Speed Boost).
7. Customize all hotkeys, speeds, pickup radii, and light intensities by pressing F1 inside the Configuration Manager.

Installation

1. Install BepInExPack Valheim.
2. Place the BuildCamera.dll into your Valheim/BepInEx/plugins/ directory.
