Gersemi

Custom gear for the Guys Being Vikings server.

A gersemi is a treasure, something kept and handed on rather than spent. This mod is where the server's own items live: any weapon, armour or trinket made for Guys Being Vikings is added here rather than in a mod of its own.

Items are handed out. There are no recipes and nothing drops them, so ask whoever runs your server.

Install

Install on the client and the server both, or dropped items will not survive.

Settings

Each item has its own section in BepInEx\config\gbv.valheim.gersemi.cfg for its colours and effects. Everything is optional, and the defaults are what the server intends.

Settings only change what you see. Other players keep the defaults unless they change them too.

Some effects are taken from weapons in other mods. Without those mods installed the item uses one of its own instead, so nothing needs adding.

To use your own model for an item, put an .obj or .glb named after it in BepInEx\config\Gersemi\.

Commands

For admins, in the console:

Command	What It Does
gersemi list	Lists everything this mod adds.
gersemi give <name>	Puts one in your pack.
gersemi probe	Reports how an item was built, for when something looks wrong.
