Enhanced vanilla experience with progression-based difficulty scaling. Easy to install for groups wanting a ready-made modpack.

Designed to expand Valheim while staying as faithful as possible to the original experience, this modpack introduces improved progression systems, quality of life features, and enhanced vanilla mechanics. Discover new skills, expanded taming and mounts, cooperative sailing bonuses, and alternative progression paths that reward exploration. Forget tedious farming and uncover hidden ways to obtain valuable resources, leaving more time to build, explore, and enjoy the adventure. Boss progression has also been reworked to provide a more engaging challenge while preserving the spirit and atmosphere of Valheim.

Ironfjord Vanilla+ is easy to install and requires no manual configuration. Simply create a world, invite your friends, and start your adventure while enjoying additional progression, convenience, and replayability without losing the original Valheim experience.

Ironfjord Vanilla+ is still in BETA, and gameplay balance is continuously being refined.

Installation

1. Install Thunderstore Mod Manager or r2modman.
2. Open your mod manager, select Valheim and create a new profile with any name.
3. Click Install on this page or search for Ironfjord Vanilla in your mod manager.
4. Once installed, click Edit config → search quick_connect_servers → Open File → add your server and save.
5. Launch with Modded and you're ready to play. Welcome to Ironfjord!
